I love this place! Their coffee and matcha tastes great and they have so many amazing pastries. My favorites are the banana cake with chocolate, cinnamon bun/muffin and the chocolate chip cookie :) Some of the pastries were dairy free and one was gluten free. Maybe they could add some more options like this.. They offer as well a variety of (vegan) milks. Luckily as well the coconut milk from Rude Health, without any gums, artificial vitamins or seed oils. I would recommend actually only getting vegan milks from a brand like that and not from Alpro (they can be very irritating to the gut). The aesthetics are lovely and very calming to the mind. They have a shelf with a lot of books with topics like interior design and cooking, that you can grab to read while you enjoy your drink and snack. The service is as well overal nice and fast :)

As a coffee lover I appreciate good variety of high quality of coffee beans and drinks. However I felt like in this place they try too hard to have certain formal atmosphere that I didn’t enjoy. If you’re looking for a place where you feel comfortable, having a long conversation, work a bit (laptops are not allowed) then this might not be your place. For me specialty coffee can be cozy and welcoming too. Staff was also very serious and a bit rude. Not the cafe I would come back to every weekend.

The Coffee District in Amsterdam is my favorite coffee spot for its cozy, welcoming vibe and exceptional brews. The friendly staff makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in, and their passion for coffee is evident in every cup.

They offer a superb selection of specialty beans from around the world, perfect for discovering new flavors. Whether you enjoy bright, fruity notes or rich, deep flavors, there’s always something exciting to try.

Beyond great coffee, the ambiance is inviting and relaxed, making it an ideal place to unwind or catch up with friends. Plus, you can buy their beans to enjoy at home and join tastings and workshops to deepen your coffee knowledge.

In short, The Coffee District is more than just a café—it’s a community hub where coffee lovers gather. If you're in Amsterdam, it's...

Coffee District embodies the fashion model approach to hospitality - all style, no warmth. The café puts tremendous effort into cultivating a trendy image, much like a runway model maintaining that aloof, unsmiling pose for maximum cool factor. While they succeed in brewing quality coffee, their obsession with appearing fashionable creates an atmosphere that feels more like a showroom than a welcoming neighborhood spot. The end result is a place where the coffee is solid but the vibe leaves you feeling like you’re interrupting a photoshoot rather than settling in for a comfortable...
