Helin's Vegan Döner — Restaurant in Amsterdam

It's such a pity because I used to be a regular. Decided to pass by for lunch and was served by a rude and disrespectful person, who messed up the durum.

I would not have had much of an issue with her rudeness but she used the vegan meat from the day before and did not even heat it. When she gave me the durum, it was room temperature. I said I wanted it hot and she rudely responded that it is hot but that she will put in the oven. After a few minutes in the oven she realised it was off or something and put it for barely a minute in another oven.

I got the durum back and I went outside. The durum was just not as tasty and just not warm at all. I decided it was too nice of a day to get bothered by somebody who clearly does not care about doing the minimal good service.

I have good memories from this place, my partner's favorite. Never expected to encounter such rude and careless service

I went today and they didnt look very happy, so it didnt feel very welcoming. And they didnt tell you to go sit and they will bring food so I was left waiting and later brought it back. And at the end I asked if I can quickly wash my hands in their kitchen as you get messy fingers of eating rice meals. They didnt allow me. Extremely difficult and restrictive service from the younger guy that works (avoid if he’s working) seems to be autistic (on the spectrum) just no common sense. Eg. Tried ordering veggies without the bread as I’m allergic- I’m asking for something “less” and he won’t do it.
