Onze Kerstavond – Een Onvergetelijke Ervaring

Onze kerstvakantieavond op vrijdag is fantastisch van start gegaan! Het begon al goed met een heerlijk diner. Wat oorspronkelijk bedoeld was voor een reservering van 30 personen, groeide uiteindelijk uit tot een gezellige groep van 45 gasten. Gelukkig was alles perfect geregeld, en we werden met open armen ontvangen.

Geweldige Service en Gastvrijheid

Het personeel heeft zich echt van zijn beste kant laten zien. Iedereen deed ontzettend zijn best om ons een geweldige avond te bezorgen, en de eigenaar, die volgens mij Wikaas heet, was een echte gastheer. Zijn vriendelijke en attente houding gaf een extra warme sfeer aan de avond. Dit maakt het tot een toplocatie, direct gelegen tegenover de Amstel.

Bereikbaarheid en Locatie

Hoewel we normaal gesproken met het openbaar vervoer reizen – want je stapt zo het station uit en je bent er – kozen we deze keer voor de auto. Met opa erbij en zo’n grote groep was dat toch wat handiger. Of je nu met de auto of met het OV komt, de locatie tussen Weesp en Wibautstraat is ideaal en goed bereikbaar.

Genieten van Bijzondere Drankjes

De avond werd compleet met een uitgebreide selectie drankjes tegen een gereduceerd tarief. De mango lassie en Indiase thee sprongen er echt uit – beide waren heerlijk. Het was duidelijk een drukke avond met een volle bezetting, maar het team bleef professioneel en werkte zich soepel door de drukte heen.

Een Echte Aanrader

Kortom, dit was een avond om niet te vergeten. De combinatie van het heerlijke eten, de warme gastvrijheid en de sfeervolle locatie maakt dit tot een vijfsterrenervaring. Voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een bijzondere plek voor een groepsdiner of feestavond, is dit absoluut een aanrader! Ook dank aan Pino en de kerstman!!

Our Christmas Evening – A Night to Remember Roti Room

Our Christmas holiday evening on Friday started off perfectly! It began with a delightful dinner. What was initially planned for a reservation of 30 people grew into a lively group of 45 guests. Fortunately, everything was well organized, and we were warmly welcomed.

Excellent Service and Hospitality

The staff truly gave it their all. Everyone worked hard to ensure we had an amazing evening, and the owner, whose name I believe is Wikaas, was an exceptional host. His friendly and attentive attitude added an extra touch of warmth to the evening. This makes it a top-notch location, situated right across from the Amstel.

Accessibility and Location

Although we usually travel by public transport – since you can step out of the station and you’re there – this time we opted for the car. With grandpa joining and such a large group, it was the most convenient choice. Whether you arrive by car or public transport, the location between Weesp and Wibautstraat is ideal and easy to access.

Enjoying Special Drinks

The evening was complete with a wide selection of drinks offered at a reduced price. The mango lassie and Indian tea were the highlights – both were delicious. It was clearly a busy evening with full occupancy, but the team remained professional and managed the rush seamlessly.

A True Recommendation

In short, this was an unforgettable evening. The combination of delicious food, warm hospitality, and the cozy location makes this a five-star experience. For anyone looking for a special place for a group dinner or festive evening, this is absolutely worth considering!

Delicious food, warm service, and truly honest people – a hidden gem in Amsterdam

Indian Roti Room, just a short walk from Volkshotel, turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Amsterdam. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine smiles and heartfelt hospitality. The atmosphere is calm and cozy, and the menu offers a great selection of classic Indian dishes made with care and tradition.

The butter chicken was absolutely outstanding – rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The naan was fresh, warm, and soft, just the way it should be. You can really taste the quality and attention in every bite. This is comfort food at its best.

What truly stood out, though, was the kindness and integrity of the staff. After finishing my meal, I accidentally left my phone behind – something you’d normally panic about while traveling. But when I came back, they had kept it safe for me, with a smile and a simple: “Of course, we kept it safe for you.”

That small moment said everything about this place: honest people who care about their guests and treat them with respect.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Roti Room on Saturday night and sat outside. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were promptly seated. The waiter Rinco was very helpful with the menu. We ordered Tikka Masala, Korma, and sides of Sag Paneer and Dahl. The food was delicious! Everything came out piping hot, including the savory garlic naan. We somehow made room for dessert and were happily surprised by the Rasmalai and Indian Pattiala (the former being a soft and sweet cheese in a cream and the latter a kind of Indian ice cream served in rice pudding).
