Ordered a soft shell crab roll, but they replaced it with a surimi roll, which was a lot cheaper and it is something I would never order.
When I called them to ask what happened, they said they'd ask the kitchen and call me back. They never did, so I called back 3 times. Each time when they heard I was the customer they tried to con, they hung up on me.
Finally I told them that I lived 5 minutes away and will go to their store in person, so they couldn't keep hiding by hanging up on me anymore.
They asked me to ask Uber for a refund. However since they sent someone to drop off the food instead of Uber, the order was never marked complete so I couldn't place a refund request.
It was lucky that I was nearby and was able to sort this out. Who knows how many others were conned the same way but couldn't do anything because they're too far away.

Read morePrices are ok, but the quality of the rolls and ingredients was insufficient in my opinion. Hosomaki rolls had rice in them that was cooked too short. Also, it seemed like the chicken in the yakitori chicken roll was just plain chicken breast. Most of the rolls fell apart when picked up, because the seaweed wasn’t wrapped correctly. There even were gaps where there was no seaweed at all, so of course it’s going to fall apart then. Read moreI have been trying to order from this place for 2 days. Yesterday by the time I finished the order on thuisbezorgd they closed for delivery. Today in the morning I placed on order on their own website for 18:00 and it got cancelled. Does anyone have more experience or luck with this place? Is it even possible to order with delivery? Or is it only take-away most days? If it is a temporary lack of staff can the restaurant give me an answer when to try to order from them? I cannot keep coming...
