The coffee was mediocre, very milky, but that would be okay. What really didn’t work for me were “the pancakes”. What they served a three huge patties of dry buckwheat- nothing like a fluffy pancake at all. I didn’t find the fresh fruits, nor the homemade yam advertised on the menu. When I asked, the waiter said that this is how the serve the pancakes 🥴 I guess they mean the 3 pieces of apple baked into the patty. I tried to eat half, my boyfriend ate 1/3. The banana bread was honestly the best I've had in Amsterdam. I didn't even mind that it was vegan. (Normally I go for the real butter pastries...) I've felled in love with OKO's cakes, especially the spinach one. Coffee made me grab another one, so I went for the chocolate one. DELICIOUS!
Really love the vibe, super nice people working over there. I've actually met some amazing people over there who already knew about this spot and we had spontaneous conversation - I guess this place naturally attracts interesting human beings ;)
