Haven't been able to write many comments recently.
But this is worth it. We had a total 3.5 hour of dining, and they have a small kitchen. The only thing bad was mainly from our side. We don't drink.
All three of us picked the 5 courses set. Appetizers, two fish dishes, two meat dishes, and a dessert.
Appetizers I really love the onion soup and the foam. Sourness definitely opened up my appetite of the night. Home made onion sauce and breads are great.
Fish dishes sea bass sashimi, fresh and good. I am slightly finding the texture of some part of the dish a bit weird, but overall good. Tuna with tuna sauce with asparagus, my top1 of the night. Love the tuna fish, the asparagus, and the sauce. It seems to use lobster soup as the base rich flavor, but fresh.
Meat dish Quail, I am not a big fan of Quail, unfortunately, but the sauce and back vinegar is a plus. Also, the offal stuffing is an interesting approach. Lamp, perfectly done the shank and rack are just good. And perfect. Nothing need to quote more
Dessert If tuna is my top1, this dessert will be my 2nd. Sweet but not over sweet. The mix of ginger and strawberry favor within the sauce really brought this dish to another level.
We were luck to be in an asparagus season. All courses contain asparagus and built around it. Defo worth a try. Lastly, not a bad price....
Read moreThere are a few restaurants in Europe that boast Michelin star or recommendation and the quality of their food and service actually reflect their status. This restaurant sadly doesn't belong to those. While the title of their dishes may at least spark some creative imagination, the execution falls short. The only impression that lingers in my head was pretentious, overly priced, and meh. The scallops were overdone, the mains (I had steak) was rather underseasoned and, well, underwhelming. But perhaps to crown my disappointment, the service was far from Michelin standard. We booked a table by the window and by the time we arrived perfectly on time, our table was already occupied. When we expressed our concern and disappointment, one of the waitresses became so defensive I really thought we might as well just ef it and leave. But our dear friend insisted that we stayed. We did, and we regretted. For an actual fine dining experience,...
Read moreI originally booked through the Dining with the Stars website for the chance to eat here during their promotion period, which is 60 EUR per person for a 5-course dinner.
Although the food is EXCELLENT (check out the photos), the wine selection was fabulous and the service was good, we were approached halfway through the meal because they had accidentally started serving us the 6-course dinner and wanted to know if we were okay with going along with it. We didn't find out until the end that the 6-course dinner was 110 per person, so I had to pay almost double at the end of the night for one extra accidental course.
If you come here, I would suggest confirming and reminding them of your original booking throughout your visit. I'm honestly very upset at how much more I've had to pay - I would have been more than satisfied with...
