Like many of the other reviews for this restaurant, everything is just ok. For the prices, one would expect a better quality of food and service. We ordered the chicken salad, and it was basically a sad Caesar salad. The chicken was dried, and we had to send it back because the cheese was missing from the salad. The burger was ok, but definitely not woth 20 euros. They also charge 7 euros for still water.

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Die Leistung ist dem Ambiente und der Location nicht würdig. Das Personal ist unfreundlich, spricht kein Französisch, kein Deutsch und nur gebrochen englisch. Aber wohlfühlen kann man sich hier nicht :-( Habe den Skrei für 21,50€ bestellt und Fischstäbchen bekommen. Ach ja der 16€ Copperhead Gin Tonic wurde mit unpassendem Tonic serviert. In einer Hotelbar eines solchen Hotels darf das nicht passieren. Die Wacholderbeeren waren als Botanical ebenfalls unpassend und zu guter Letzt wurde der Drink wortlos und lieblos auf den Tisch geknallt. Also lieber die paar Meter in ein richtiges Restaurant gehen. Enttäuschung pur.

I have been staying at the Novotel for over a week now, and have been to the restaurant a couple of times..... Food has always been great, and the staff have been fantastic to deal with.. It has been an amazing experience for my partner and I as we feel like we were made to be apart of the family.. My partner and I even had a celebratory dinner for our engagement here... We were made to feel like rockstars... The guys behind the bar were amazing and very friendly too... We ended up staying on for a few drinks after dinner... So many great memories of our trip to Amsterdam... Thank You so much to all of you...

Service is awfull. I've just been ignored after finishing my meal althought multiple waiters kept passing in front of me with empty hands. Food? A disaster! I ordered a grilled steak, medium. Was Raw. Asked to be cooked more. Came raw. The boiled potato that came with it? Raw!!! I think the restaurant only survives because there's no options close by the hotel so guests just go downstairs to have some food. Terrible experience! For full discloser, i asked for the bill and complained about dinner. The restaurant didn't...

Very poor, its low average ranking is well-deserved. As others have mentioned, price/quality ratio is way off. Ordered steak sandwich, received what amounted to hot chipped beef (was technically steak but drowned in a gravyish demi and onions). Also overcooked but even if it had been perfectly cooked it wouldn't have made a difference. Service somehow managed to be glacial even with the low quality. Food was edible but that's about it.
