My boyfriend and I went to this steakhouse around 4:00pm on a weekday. Surprisingly, it wasn't very busy, only one or two other tables. We had the full attention of the waiter and he was magnificent!
I decided to get a glass of the house wine and fried mussels to start. My boyfriend got the combo meal, so he had the meatballs. The appetizers were fantastic! I would love the recipe for the tartar sauce that came with the fried mussels!
For our entrees, we decided to take the rare opportunity to try the horse steak (very clearly labeled as horse on the menu). We weren't sure which sauce to try, but our waiter told us if we had never had it before, to eat it plain. We did and could not have been more happy! This was by far the most tender steak I have ever had! It was juicy and cooked perfectly. We were in awe!
For dessert, I got the crème brûlée and he the chocolate mousse. Both were incredible! The crème brûlée had the perfect crust, the custard was the perfect consistency and temperature. The mousse was rich and creamy!
This has to be one of the best meals I have ever had. The attention of the waiter made it even better. I would highly recommend to anyone in the...

I'd eaten here before, sharing a table with other diners as they were pretty full (they're quite popular - a reservation is advised) and had a pork with pepper sauce which turned out to be pretty tasty. They also have a range of good strong beers, wifi and took credit card, so that was my evening sorted!
I returned with a friend on another night when we had steaks - beef for me, horse for him. Both dishes came with a bowl of chips plus a side salad (and mayo, being Dutch). The steaks were cooked well, sitting in their own juices and quite tasty (but small for the price). Both of us enjoyed the meal - they're known for their cooking there - and I've returned a few times since.
Definitely for meat-lovers; you're assured a...
Read moretldr: do not come here for a steak, you'll leave disappointed.
pros: the waiters are nice, helpful and professional. the prices are decent. the steaks come with fries&salad side which is passable. the coffee is bearable.
cons: the place calls itself a steakhouse, yet there is a single cut of meat (two if you count horse separately). they served me a steak that was sliced in half and tasted almost completely bland; its taste and texture were very much like frozen meat. pepper sauce is not served in a separate sauce boat, instead the steak was drowned in it (the sauce itself is good).
overall, it's a nice place, but it shouldn't call itself a steakhouse. just yet another...
