I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant in Amsterdam and Den Haag and I must say, the spicy ramen dish was an absolute delight! In fact, I loved it so much that I've been to this restaurant twice now, and both times have been amazing.
The restaurant undoubtedly boasts the best ramen in Amsterdam, and I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal. The spicy ramen was particularly noteworthy, with just the right balance of heat and flavor to make it an instant favorite.
One thing that impressed me about the restaurant was their attention to dietary restrictions. As someone who doesn't eat meat, I was pleased to see that they offered different vegetarian options, making it a great spot for both carnivores and herbivores alike. This inclusivity is truly appreciated and adds to the overall appeal of the restaurant.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough. From the mouthwatering ramen dishes to the accommodating menu options, everything was simply perfect. If you're ever in Amsterdam and looking for a delicious and inclusive dining experience, this restaurant is...
Read moreTasty, quick, and with a staff with a good sense of humour. Takumi ramen was the first place we went to after the corona-related measurements were eased in Amsterdam. They were very polite, having recently opened. The food was well seasoned and reasonably priced considering the portion. What I was most pleasantly surprised about was the teriyaki chicken was not only still very tender but the skin was crispy and holding onto the teriyaki flavour quite well (normally, the skin gets soaked at some point and loses flavour). The noodles also weren't overwhelming or over-filling. I can't make much judgement about the ambiance, all things these days are different than normal, but the staff that we saw was very well mannered and didn't mind at all that we wanted to move inside after having ordered as the blooming trees nearby caused quite a large amount of fluff flying through the air. Having this as a new restaurant around the corner, is a very...
Read moreDidn't like it. We reserved a table for five. When we arrived, they seated us in a very claustrophobic spot in the corner by the window, adding an extra chair to an already small table for four. It was very hot inside, which is not ideal when eating ramen. We ended up moving outside.
My husband and our friend received the wrong ramen. My husband ordered a very spicy one (for which we paid an extra €1.20) but got a regular one instead. I had soba with gyoza: the gyoza were tasty, but I really didn't like the vegetables in the soba. We ordered a chicken and gyoza set for our daughter, asking in advance if there was any sauce. The food was served in a small bowl with sauce, something like mayonnaise, and kimchi right on top of the rice. We then had to wait a long time for an empty plate to set aside the parts our daughter couldn’t eat.
We liked the same restaurant in The...
