Four bartenders behind the bar but no one actually wants to serve a customer until the supervisor came, and when they finally took the order it looks (and tastes) like they can’t even pour a pint properly, when questioned their response was “this is how we drink Guinness in The Netherlands” which is absolutely not the case 😂 Save your money and time, and go check out the hundreds of other bars & pubs in Amsterdam and across The Netherlands that can actually pour a pint and seem like they actually want to! (Also came here for breakfast on our first morning which was an average portion and at least edible but not worth the money, I mean I hope you can’t go wrong with eggs…)

Great place with a warm, cosy atmosphere. I did end up wearing a full pint of Guinness after a bar runner spilling it all over me. However, was given a free pint for the trouble. It is a bit of a sports pub, but their screens are a bit small to thoroughly enjoy any game but it should not be held against them. I am also still trying to get used to the Dutch tradition of making you pay to go for a pee which this pub does. You spend a lot with them which means you pee a lot as well.

Full English. Full monty: not bad, not great. Nice big slices of ham, eggs as ordered, good bunch of toast. Falls short: small portion of beans and not so great tasting, no black pudding (major faux pas), no vine tomatoes, and very little shrooms. Hashbrowns cost extra. Ok if you really need that brekky fix, but there are better options out there. Worth noting: great staff, fast service, great location. The environment is very nice for a spot that's heavy on the tourist traffic.

Customer service was really poor and indifferent. I asked the bartender if they had Prosecco, and he said yes. I then said I’d have an Aperol Spritz. He started making it but was about to put lemon in it, even though it’s supposed to have orange. I pointed that out, and only then he told me they actually didn’t have any. So I said I’d just have a Prosecco instead. The bartender sighed and rolled his eyes.

When I opened the piccolo bottle, I noticed it had no bubbles at all. I told the waiter about it, and he immediately said he’d replace it. He took the bottle and the glass with him — and then nothing happened. After waiting at least 20 minutes, I asked the waiter where my drink was, and he said, “Oh, it’s not supposed to have bubbles.” What? I asked where the drink I paid for was, and he just brought back my old glass.

Seriously?? The drink wasn’t right, and then they had the nerve to bring back the old one that had already warmed up and obviously lost all the bubbles. Really rude service, disrespectful behavior, and a complete lack of regard for the customer. If I could, I wouldn’t give even a single star — but one is the...

Would give 0 stars if possible. Listen — if you want a sports bar, this could be your dig. The individual servers are friendly and accommodating (in fact, some of the best service I've had in Amsterdam for a while!), alcohol is decently priced, food is sub-par (but that's what you expect in such a touristy area like Rembrandtplein).

Everything's what you expect BUT the management. The management is horrendous and throws their employees under the bus. A table left without paying their €170 bill at the bar and the floor manager told our server (incredibly lovely young lady) that the tab was on her, and pushed the blame on her saying she should have been more on top of the table. Fair, but you know what? Running an establishment is a team effort and that attitude was despicable.

So if you want to support a place that treats their employees fairly, this is not the place. If you want good food, this is not the place. If you want to stream some sports, go to...

Total rip-off. I was in the area with a friend and he wanted to eat something quickly so we decided to try that pub. I picked fish & chips because it's something I really like. When the order came I was surprised to just see one tiny piece of fish lost in a huge amount of over cooked fries. I told the waiter that this is not what I expected and not worth 16€...seriously. She said "oh I'm sorry" and then took my dish and brought it back to the canteen, saying she will talk to the chief. She came back with the dish saying that this is a normal portion, but that they "kindly" offer to cook another piece. I said ok. After a few minutes she came back with it. I said thanks. But well, the fish wasn't even properly cooked...I didn't eat half of it. We asked for the bill and left rapidly, also they first refused to have us pay separately which I told was not right, I had to go to the counter to chat to some other waiter and...
