📌 Save this for your Amsterdam trip! Who doesn’t like free?👇 1. The Begijnhof was built as a sactuary for a Catholic sisterhood who lived like nuns. Still occupied by single women, this hidden courtyard is beautifully preserved and well worth a visit. 2. All around the Rijksmuseum you’ll find lush gardens. Bring a book, grab a seat, and enjoy. 3. Vondelpark is a great place to stroll around or have a picnic. When the weather is good, you’ll find the whole city here. 4. Walk the Seven Bridges (along Reguliersgracht) for some of the best canal scenery in town. 5. From Central Station, take the free ferry across the IJ and consider exploring Amsterdam Noord. It’s a bit more artsy and industrial on that side of the river - but full of lots of gems. 6. Explore the Albert Cuyp Market - from food to flowers to fashion - it’s got a little bit of everything. 7. Visit Dam Square - there’s always something to see! The palace is an icon of the city, and the people watching is top tier. 8. Visit Damrak - one of my favorite photo spots in the city. The view of the canal houses and their reflection on the water should be seen both day and night! 9. Walk the Bloemenmarkt, a “floating” flower market. It mostly consists of spots to buy bulbs and seeds to plant, but on each end you’ll find vendors that sell beautiful bouquets and the displays are lovely. 10. Peep canal house interiors at night - it sounds weird, but it’s pretty common knowledge that the Dutch often keep their curtains open! If you walk the canals at night, you’ll see some truly stunning homes. . . . . . #amsterdam #amsterdamphotographer #amsterdamcity #amsterdamcanals #visitamsterdam

We visited the first shop at the Flower Market, and honestly, I was shocked by the attitude of the staff toward customers. They position themselves as a flower shop, yet they weren’t able to make a simple bouquet. I’m not talking about anything complicated — just taking the flowers out of the paper they were standing in, cutting the rubber bands, combining them into one bouquet, and wrapping it in new paper. The girl, clearly annoyed and rolling her eyes, said she would do it — but in the end, she just wrapped the flowers in another sheet of paper. When we politely asked her to redo it properly, a man started being rude. It felt like they didn’t like the fact that we spoke English. Honestly, the whole experience gave the impression of dealing with people who dislike others, their job, and possibly even foreigners. Very disappointing.

Definitely worth the visit, especially if you are into plants and flowers. One can find a large variety of not only tulip bulbs but all kinds of interesting and even exotic plant seedlings. Tulip bulbs are offered in bulk or prepackaged so one can choose in between colors and varieties. The prices vary in between the sellers though. Many cool ideas for presents or souvenirs are also offered such as tiny clay pots with different starting kits, small boxes with tulip bulbs for potting, wooden tulips for decoration as well as many others. Flowers by bunches are also found. A visit may take from 15 minutes to 2 hours but it’s definitely quite joyful to spent some time enjoying all the smells and colors of the...

I had a very unpleasant experience and I feel the need to share it. Although I entered with high expectations, I was disappointed by the services provided.

Firstly, the staff was not friendly at all. I felt ignored and bothered when I come with the bouquets to pay. Instead of being greeted with warmth and professionalism, I had the impression that I was a nuisance, and the responses were short and lacking interest.

In conclusion, I do not recommend this florist. The services are below expectations, and the staff's attitude leaves much to be desired. I hope that they will improve the customer experience in the future, as flowers deserve...
