ARUBA was great we ate at Davinci restaurant twice. Was advised to make a reservation. So one night we ate there. First of all it was only about 5 guest when we are arrived for dinner. Not crowed at all. The hostess sits us way in the back of restaurant by-passing several empty two table seats. I advised her we did not want to sit there, and seat us at another table she Hands us each a food menu however we had already observed others menus given to other patrons. I asked why we did not get the other 2 menus as everyone else. We were told hostess was NEW. But she remembers to give to everyone else. The. Menus were the wine menu and drink menus. Our server that night was Johnder, not nice either he acted very bothered by us asking about items on menu. Food was just ok could be a lot better. We said we would not eat there again but we give them another chance. Same problem seated way in the back by-passing empty tables. The waiter was Miguel who was horrible with under tones of racism. You have to give your room # when you order. He came back to out table and said he could not find our room number I repeated the number clearly and slowly. He came back to say he found it. Then at the end of our meal we were offered Chocolate Mousse. I said is that all you have. Knowing I had already knew what they offered for dessert from the other night because the menus do not change. So i asked if Miguel why did he only offer the mousse. He was so dumbfounded and did not k ow what to say. Did not like the service at this restaurant at...

I'm extremely dissatisfied with our recent visit to this restaurant. Our party of six was eagerly looking forward to a great dining experience, but unfortunately, it was a disaster from start to finish.
We began by ordering appetizers, which never arrived. When our main courses were served, I inquired about the missing appetizers, and our waitress seemed surprised, as if she had forgotten. We asked to cancel the appetizer order, but by then, it was too late.
The main courses were a letdown. My son's pizza was inedible - tiny, with raw dough on the bottom and burnt on top. It tasted like canned tomatoes. My kids' butter pasta lacked flavor, my husband's lasagna was uneatable, and my daughter's veal was tough and impossible to chew.
To top it all off, my braised beef rib order was incorrect. Despite the waitress claiming it was ribs, it was actually a hard, unidentifiable cut of beef. I requested the chef to come explain, but they never showed up. The dish was a catastrophe.
We were forced to return our food, ask for the check, and leave. The service was subpar, and the food was a complete failure. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our experience was a perfect storm of poor service and terrible cuisine. Needless to say, we will never...
Read moreThe restaurant's ambiance is classy and unhurried; too bad the food and service don't live up to the name; it's almost a disgrace. We had a terrible first impression since the server was rude and had us wait just for them to check our room reservation after we placed our order. That took a while, and in the meantime, no services were provided other than the water and bread when we first sat down. Now to the food, as other reviews mentioned, calamari fritti was super chewy like rubber, and the breading was thick and unflavored. $12 gets you about eight pieces of calamari. The dipping sauce was decent to contrast the fried calamari. Linguine frutti di mare had a much better flavor and texture. Garlic and butter combo is always pleasant for shrimps, though you can't taste much of garlic. Seafood doesn't taste too fresh, but the pasta and the alfredo sauce were pretty good. And that dish was 30 dollars. There was a mandatory 15% service charge for the bare...
