I had real nightmare at this place as this Sunday me and my girlfriend sat there for a lunch. First I got my mango smoothie and started drinking it. Girlfriend ordered after me and when got hers and started drinking she pulled out piece of plastic looking like shattered glass. Then I realized mine was also full of it, I was thinking it's crushed ice while drinking it. When I went to the counter to show them I saw them running around with broken blender. They didn't came to us to report what happened. Top piece was severly damaged, plastic was blended inside. There is no chance not to notice that twice. Both smoothies had it and they were made on two occasions. On the picture you can see how the plastic pieces looked like, it is on the finger of the employee(he could also trim fingernails since he's preparing food). We were on our way to the place right next to here; where we've been before. We stopped when we saw the "broodje van de maand". This month's sandwich was with matured cheese, ginger chutney, pecan nuts, apple syrup and kimchi. Sounded really nice so after a brief moment of hesitation, we decided to have lunch here. Service was friendly. The decor is nice. The drinks were way too sweet for our taste (homemade gingerbeer and lemonade of the month) - it basically tasted like syrup. Just syrup. The special of the month was just bread with a slice of cheese and spicy kimchi. We did not taste the gingerchutney at all, nor the apple syrup. Quite the disappointment. I am sorry to give a bad comment because atmosphere is cute and workers are so nice however tables are shaking , old (which is not important ) and food was disappointing . I had veg burger (which is not bad falafel type ) and my boyfriend had cheese steak broodje however that was disappointing. It is most like something you can prepare at home easily . Mainly sides are sweet dominant( he did not like it at all). I would not prefer to give 15 euros for falafel burger and my man had to eat something else outside because he was still hungry .
