Chill Beach Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Curaçao

After getting turned down at Cabana because we didn't make any reservations, we stumbled upon Chill Beach Bar & Grill and are SOOOO happy we did!

We got a private, romantic table right by the water. The ambiance is terrific. In fact, this restaurant was featured in the movie Bon Bini Holland, which was a fun surprise. The food was great. We ordered the steak and shrimp skewers, which were cooked to perfection. Be careful when handling the meat though, since the skewers are hung by a hook, but they can slip off, or the meat can slide down the skewer quickly if you're not careful. The deserts all had ice cream, which I'm not a huge fan of, but it was tasty regardless. Overall, I highly recommend (1) watching Bon Bini Holland, then (2) coming to Chill Beach B&G!...

One of my new favorite Caribbean beach dive bars! Literal toes in the sand and cold Brasa Gold in your hand! Don't let the fact that it is located within the fairly-swanky Lions Dive and Beach Resort fool you; this beach bar checks all of the boxes! Enter either through the resort itself or from Mambo Beach Blvd, the entertainment area that dominates Curaçao's famous Mambo Beach. The name is perfectly apropos (redundancy intended), the perfect spot to spend a morning and/or afternoon at the beach!

The absolute worst service and meal of my life. The ladies burger is what I ordered without cheese. It came out around 50 minutes later, cold, Rock hard, burnt and covered in cheese. I ended up scraping it off bc the server never checked up on us. I am lactose intolerant. The corn on the Cobb was also cold. My boyfriend waited over an hour for a beer. The only good part about the place were the lights. If you’re a couple and not part of a big group plan on not being spoken to for about a half hour and then plan for about an hour for food to come out.. you might...
