I was disappointed by this experience. I was hoping for a day of relaxing at the pool of a cool beach club, ordering cocktails and snacks from the comfort of our pool loungers... We rented a Cabana at the pool and expected the same vibe from other guests there considering that they charge to use the pool here. The pool, however, turned out to being used by beach goers as a place to drop their kids while they would relax at the beach unbothered by their children. I counted 8 actual guests at the pool and 15 to 20 kids jumping and splashing in the Ocean club pool, making it impossible to even scroll on your phone without getting it wet. I may be wrong, but looking at the way the pool was being used, I doubt that the kids were paid guests. I have nothing against kids in a pool, but I do believe it would be better to manage expectations of guests you are trying to attract to a facility. If this is the intended demographic, that is fine, but it would not be what I am looking for in a cool adult Beach or Ocean club setting. If it is to be an Ocean club setting, then they may want to revise the setup. Service wasn't great, having to hunt and waive down the waiters instead of being checked on periodically. I'm not blaming this entirely on the staff, as clearly most of the guests present weren't necessarily interested in ordering food and/or cocktails... Disappointing nevertheless. Finally, and considering the considerable number of really young, mostly unattended, kids in the pool, I would suggest getting a life guard. I was horrified to see a baby not even 2 years old under the care of 5 and 6 year old siblings repeatedly going under water and swallowing substantial amounts of water as this happened. I ended up keeping an eye on the kids instead of relaxing at the pool and eventually asked the kids to take me to their mother on the beach to tell her that I was affraid her daughter would drown in the pool if no one would look after her. I had reserved the pool Cabana from 10:00 to 18:00 but ended up leaving at 15:00 in order to find somewhere else to relax on my birthday. I received an email asking to review my experience later that they, which I did. I did not...
Read moreMy time here was extremely short so let's start there. I didn't get a chance to eat any food and I had the most watered down Vodka Cranberry imaginable.I made a reservation a day before I arrived for a Day Bed on the beach for 11am. I arrived at 11:05am due to the insane amount of buses dropping off hundreds of people at this beach. When I finally made it to the "club" it took 3 staff members who all pointed me in other directions to finally find one young lady who informed me that I was 7min late. I explained to her that it took 5min just to get an employee to assist in my reservation...she gave me a dirty look and said "as you can see we are busy". And yes the beach was so packed that you would literally be touching shoulders with the person next to you. The beach chairs were so close any form of social distancing or personal space was obsolete. She walked off...came back 5min later as I sat at the bar and informed me that the Bed I reserved had someone's items on it and she didn't feel comfortable moving it because she didn't know where the owners were. Because I didn't pre pay I kept my cool but I was highly annoyed that this woman pretty much put the issue on me. And I wasn't gonna do her job. She offered a bed by this small pool which at the time was flooded with kids. After looking around and realizing NOTHING would be relaxing about the day I grabbed my things and left. This place was a joke. Over crowded and clearly the only thing this establishment is concerned with is the cash flow. Good for some...Not for me. I wouldn't return nor suggest it. The beach is simply way too small and they allow any and everyone to enjoy a free for all as long as credit cards are being swiped and money is...

Then, when you want to order drinks and/or food, they'll ask you for any ID for them to keep and will return after you pay...
IN THIS CASE, I stayed the ENTIRE DAY. Paid my bill at the end of the afternoon, the bar/server FORGOT to return my Driver's License, and I too, FORGOT to ask for it. And unfortunately, I left Curaçao the following day, not even realizing I didn't have my Driver's License until landing back in Florida.
I have messaged them by EMAIL and by their website page that I found through Instagram and 3 weeks has passed, and NO ONE has replied. I guess no one really checks on the business messages.
Either way, this situation has also contributed to the amount of stars I gave. Apart from ordering here and I always had to get up and look for the server. I wished I could just always have gone to the bar, order, and get my own things as the server had always taken forever for even just to get a bottle of water.
Ordered: 1 Pitcher SANGRIA 65 NAF 2 LARGE BOTTLE WATERS 29 NAF 2 AMSTEL BRIGHT 18 NAF 1 CAPPUCCINO 7.50 NAF 1 NACHO PLATTER 23 NAF Total= 142.50 NAF or $81.43 USD
SANGRIA was good and also worth it.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Nachos, was total waste of money.
Cabana was worth it for the day however I think they need to work on cleaning it.
There was some really irritating things about this company and its service, but I did not let it get to me... Mambo Beach became one of my favorite places...
