Wet & Wild Beach Club — Restaurant in Curaçao

Horrible service, I hope the owner sees this review..

Let me start by saying this bar was EMPTY, I was staying at madero near by and decided to walk around and stumbled upon Wet&Wild.

I got a burger, gave the bar girl cash and a tip then proceeded to sit down. 30min pass by and no food and place was empty, I was the only one, the bar girls were taking social media pictures instead of seeing what’s going on with my burger.. but it gets better… so I finally decided to go up to the bar where I ordered and ask the same girl about my burger, she proceeds to tell me that it was my fault for not getting the food because she gave me some blue coin which is a complete lie, I told her that she probably forgot and that it’s ok, but no she insisted to tell me I was a liar and proceed to shoo me away, yes shoo me away with hand gestures… like a zoo animal..of course I know there is a camera recording all of this so I went to find the manager and told her to check the cameras…. The manager didn’t do anything, I never got an apology from the rude bartender and the burger wasnt even good…

I loved the vibe of this place until the bartender was a jerk for no reason. I ordered two drinks after waiting a long time. The bartender was ignoring me and served many others before me. After taking my order he kept me waiting a long time before making my two drinks. I finally got my drinks without a total or receipt. I had no idea what my drinks cost. He did take my credit card. Others around me were brought a handheld machine and got an immediate receipt. I asked for a receipt and he acted like I was speaking a foreign language. He finally went over to the computer screen and showed me the total, but didn’t give me a receipt. I’m not sure what his problem was, but I left the bar with an uneasy feeling that my card number had been captured. Not only that, but two men came in close to me and one touched me on the forearm then walked away. As I was waiting, I looked across the bar and the same guy was staring at me. Yes, I know it’s a bar and those things happen, but the good vibe changed very quickly and I no longer felt safe. Stay with your group or buddy and pay attention to your surroundings at this place. I...

The dj show at night is great but.... Take my advice and dont buy coctails, spend your 10 usd in a couple beers instead, we order mojito and long Island and tasted like watery sugar with no liquor nor flavor, we felt stolen. The place has great euro músic and caribbean beats, there are plenty of dutch Girls in small groups wanting to have a good time (be nice) , beware of d* dealers at the entrance, Just ignore them and dont engage in conversation, Just pass by.
