Update: the owner does not take any ownership as expected. Pitiful…
No passion for food here! High prices for some uninspired food. This is a tourist trap!
I went here twice, hoping for an improved experience. The second time was even worse. I complained about the mouse snack size main course and they eventually would give me a discount, which they did not at the end.
The main course was awful. A little piece of fish seasoned with only pepper and salt. Two little scoops of mashed potatoes, some butter sauce and six little piece of string beans for naf 45?! I could have better stayed home and let my two year old cook for me.
I complained with the waiter and asked for the manager but he would not come and let the waiter get all my complaints. This is the worst experience I have had for a while. I red similar reviews which have been posted over the course of this year and they would promise to do better. I guess they do not take their clients serious.
Below average food served by an delusional owner that will not improve for the better because a lot of tourists come here.

The charcuttery platter was boring and not artistic that any line cook can do. Mountain of cheese, some italian salami, pate, not neatly presented just piled up on wooden plate, chewy dry baguette, no fun for 52 guilders. The vibe and the location is still good. This is my personal opinion, so judge it yourself. You may like it.
In a revived Kula Hulanda, they have nice bites for the drinks and full lunch and dinner. Not those fried Dutch bites but attentively cooked tasty dishes. This place seems to have chefs changing regularly, but I like the current menu line ups. With extra presense of cute tabby...
Read moreThis is our most favorite restaurant on the entire island and we ate here multiple times. The people who left negative reviews for this rest are not being fair. Everything we ordered from the bread to the duck and soup was so tasty. They have a great wine menu. Everything is served in an upscale manner while you’re paying really average prices compared to other much lower quality establishments on this island. I have been to many other Caribbean islands and this island has a much better infrastructure and it offers much better quality and value for money. Running such a decent restaurant under the logistical limitations of the Caribbean is worth a praise. Greetings from Istanbul and keep up the...
