Quite an interesting place. Literally every piece of restaurant furniture has a price tag on it - and you can buy it, which creates a slightly strange impression that they are trying to make money on absolutely everything. However, when you order a dish, the chef plucks tomatoes from a hanging bunch (which you can also buy) or a basil leaf growing in a pot. It's fun and gives the impression that everything is very fresh (in general, it is). The menu is quite good - there is plenty to choose from. Some pizzas are already prepared and will simply be warmed up for you. The pastas will cook, and it won't be very fast. Nevertheless, the taste is pretty good, although I wouldn’t say it’s something completely incredible. I would say that the place is worth a visit, the dishes are not that expensive, the taste is good, the atmosphere is not...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped at this restaurant hopping for "good" Italian food. What we got was "GREAT" food! We have had Italian food throughout the world and did not expect to find food this AMAZING in Delft, Netherlands of all places. The salad was fresh crisp and very flavorful. My wife had the pappardelle with ragu. I had the gnocchi. Both incredibly good! Even the fried polenta was some of the BEST I have ever had. This place is kind of a sleeper, no fancy awnings or umbrellas, sitting right next to the Old City Hall, on the town square. We walked by first, then I said to Sharon let's go check the menu---SOOOOOO glad we did. The kitchen is small, so you might have to wait if the place is busy, but it IS...
