Dönerix — Restaurant in Deventer

Please be careful with your credit card here if you are a tourist. My card got hacked here and there were 3 fraudulent transactions on my card after I used it here.

While paying for my order my card didnt work. i tapped twice. one of the staff grabbed the card from my hand and tapped the card the other way , with the card numbers facing the card machine ,instead of just the chip. i didnt think much of it then , though I found it odd.

Even then the card didnt work. so i paid cash. as i was eating my food , i got a message from credit card bank that the card did work . i went to the payment counter and showed them the message. they argued but gave me cash back.

and then the following night , early morning, there were 3 fraudulent transactions on my card with the same name from this restaurant.

I was staying at Dieren which is far from Deventeer. But I went the next day to the police station , made a complaint and got one of them arrested.

The police discovered that they use machine that grabs information from the card.

It's a fine restaurant, if you're a fan of Turkish food this is a must-visit. Great food and great service. The only thing I could think of that might be annoying to some people is that the workers talk Turkish to each other but let's be honest, you're not in the right place here if you can't even deal with that! After a devastating fire, Dönerix Fastfood Restaurant was festively reopened on May 22, 2018.
