It is the biggest rip-off place !! I ordered 4 kebab skewer, 2 chicken wings skewer, 1 lamb meat skewer and 1 lamb’s liver skewer, and two cola zero cans (2€ each in the menu card). They are all very small portion (100 grams) which on average should be around 4€ per skewer (the most expensive item is 40€ per kilo). However, they charged me 56€ instead of 36€ (based on my last purchase)!
I had been to this place before several times and bought kebab skewers. It was always priced at 10 skewers equal to 1 kilo (on the menu they only have the price per kilo and not per dish or skewer! The weirdest thing that you see nowhere else!)
They don’t give you a bill or a receipt, you just say what you had and they pretend to calculate and then suddenly surprise you with a ridiculous sum up ! I tried to explain that they have made a mistake but actually no one there speaks English good enough to communicate and then the cashier made some strange calculation with a basic calculator trying to confuse me and seemed getting angry, so I just paid and got out.
This place is a huge rip-off if you don’t speak Arabic! Be aware to always ask for the exact price before you order and ask for a...
Read moreKruisstraat is a foodie's dream destination, offering a wide array of halal-based food ingredients. Al Fourat, particularly, stands out as one of the best places to buy fresh halal meat. The butcher shop stocks chicken, beef, goat, and lamb, all of which are always fresh and clean.
However, their real specialty lies in their whole grilled chicken. This product is a testament to the shop's commitment to quality and expertise in seasoning. Customers have the luxury of choosing their preferred raw chicken, which is then expertly seasoned to perfection. Additionally, they offer chicken kebab, chicken shashlik, and fish all available pre-seasoned. Upon request, the staff will grill it on the spot, ensuring that customers leave with an outstanding, ready-to-eat meal.
The best part is that a whole package of grilled chicken, vegetables, and two slices of Arabic bread comes at a very reasonable price of 15 euros. The convenience, quality of taste, and affordability of Al Fourat's grilled chicken package make it an excellent addition to any meal. Ultimately, Al Fourat's consistent quality and focus on halal-based meat make it a must-visit destination for food connoisseurs in...
Read moreThe food is great, i like spices so it was a pleasure to me, i like to warn you about the terrible parking situation surrounding the place. Also the quality of fellow customers is not always the best. The workers are kind and ready to work, but because of heavy orders, your order can get 30-35 minutes delayed, so definitely count on that. But despite that, everything was good, and the food was delicious. It's also a bit crowded, so watch...
