Went here for breakfast, the food was nice and fresh especially the bread was of great quality. Good portion sizes, really friendly staff and fast service. Plenty of space if you come with a group. One of the main advantages is that you can choose your type of bread with a topping of choice. Types of bread; Petit Pain, Ciabatta, Baguette, Italian bun or a croissant.

Lovely place for brunch! The coffee was really good and there was a wide variety of breakfast options to choose from. The staff were very friendly and patient, giving us all the time we needed to decide — not an easy task. A cozy spot with something for everyone, highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxed breakfast or brunch in Groningen.

the to be breakfast place in Groningen delivered on the high expectations we had due to its reviews. Service was really attentive, we had the classic breakfast with 3 extra choices on top of classics like croissant, bread, egg and jam - go there and relax, seems it is handy to have a table booked in advance on weekends as it gets really busy

I don't know if there is more iconic french duo then a coffee and a croissant. We ordered coffee and pastry. So we got the coffee much earlier while sitting next to the pastry (we could almost reach them) I got my croissant after 15minutes with MUSTARD sauce on the side. When I told the waitress this is not how it's supposed to be served, the sweet pastry (croissant, pain au chocolat) should be served with coffee, she said I should've told so when ordering as it takes time to prepare. I thought it goes without saying as everywhere around the world waiters know this, and I don't think to throw a croissant/pain au chocolat on a plate, with some cream/garnish takes so much time but well... Pain au chocolat does not taste how it is supposed to taste and it is twice as expensive as it would be in France. If one tries to profit off the whole "French" vibe, at least do it authentically or as close as possible, but pain au chocolat is not the dough its supposed to be (it was dry and though, but maybe it was old) and croissant served with mustard sauce apart from coffee is at least to say...confusing. The sandwiches are okay but overpriced. The waitress we had was nice, but the service was very slow, despite having so many employes, it looked like they are stepping on each other's toes and not working effectively. Experience here can be described as everlasting waiting, waiting for initial notice, waiting for pastry, waiting to pay the bill while standing in front of 5+ employees... It is a nice overpriced sandwich place for the Dutch, but nothing to do with France at all. Why call yourself a...

Something is completely wrong with this place as despite it has a great yummy food, they have zero customer service. 2 girls at the table next to us left after 15 mins sitting without even being acknowledged or brought the menu. What to expect from this place: great coffee nice presentation of dishes food was fresh, delicious and great value for money. What NOT to expect: no welcome, not even a wee smile from the staff a lot of waiting time, starting from even getting a menu nobody would come back and check on you after food is served. They don’t care if you have everything you need or want to order something extra. The place is busy and popular somehow, but if you want customers to be back, then a personal...

I would not recommend this place for gluten free options. Also, it was very unfriendly that they asked me to change table, I was in table# 1 near the door, because they said I was only 1 customer, and that table is for 4 people. But when I left that table was occupied for 2 people only... Most of them were friendly and tried to solve some mistakes in my order, but for sure I won't come back because it generated distrust, and I can't rely that my gluten free meal had been handled properly. Lastly, it has been very expensive for only one coffee and a ham and...
