Café Soestdijk — Restaurant in Groningen

I was at this cafe with two other friends and we were drinking some beers and having a super nice time but one friend wasn’t drinking. Although me and my friend had both ordered and intended to order more we were told we weren’t allowed to stay if our one friend didn’t order a drink. The rest of the place was quite empty as well so it wasn’t because it was packed and other people would bring more business. Didn’t like it. First time I ordered hot chocolate and they served it to the table next to me telling me unfortunately it was the last. Second time I went, ordered sandwich, supposed to have sauce in but it was all over the plate but not in the sandwich, used as a decoration. Don’t want to comment raw worst, maybe some people like it like this, but it is recommended to have something lighter for brunch instead of raw meat and bitterballen broodjes. I spent half an hour at this place to catch up with some friends who were having beers at a table.
