Myself and a group of my friends attended the restaurant for our graduation dinner. We had previously been and had really enjoyed it/ believed it to be perfect for the group size etc.
The experience was most definitely the worst I have ever encountered in this city/ country or to be completely honest, it was my worst experience eating out ever.
To begin the group each ordered 2/3 dishes each and 1 cocktail/ drink along with it. Drinks took forever to come, three dishes were given to us which we did not order. Which left 2 of our friends sat waiting long past us finishing our food for theirs.
The food was bland and tasteless, a few dishes were good like the burger and boa bun, they were the only things anyone said were up to the standard we expected considering the prices.
All in all it was a less than exciting dining experience.
But that was only the beginning, when asked to split the bill between us. Which we had previously done in this restaurant, we were met with rudeness and arrogance, the waitresses and the manager ganged up on myself and my friend who were only trying to recommend letting a group of students know in advance this might be the case, as to save myself the hassle of organising money/ dividing individual bills for 10 people (on our graduation celebration...this was the point of eating out, so we could all enjoy ourselves without stress of hosting/ cooking etc) . This was not taken with as much as a smile nor an apology but an argument that lasted for over 10 minutes in which the waitresses/ manager explained they can split the bill but are refusing to do so as it “is too much work for them”. Keep in mind this was a Tuesday night, our booking was by far the biggest of the night. We explained that in the time this rediculous argument took place, we would all have respectfully paid, tipped and went on our way, happy with how our evening went. I will never return to this restaurant and myself and my group will happily tell everyone we know to avoid visiting in the fear of meeting the rude staff. I am myself a waitress and worked in hospitality for 5 years, never could I imagine treating or speaking to customers the...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.
We arrived at 8 PM, expecting a normal dinner service. The first red flag? One of the plates on the table was dirty before we even got our food. Disgusting. Hygiene should be the absolute basic standard for any restaurant, and they couldn’t even get that right.
Then came the real disaster—our main courses never arrived. After two hours of waiting and repeatedly asking about our food, we kept getting the same empty reassurance: “It’s almost ready.” Spoiler: It never was.
The manager? Completely useless. No explanation, no apology, just total indifference. We appreciate that they didn’t charge us for the food and some drinks, but by 10 PM, where exactly were we supposed to find another decent place to eat? The damage was already done.
And to make things even more ridiculous—after we left, they had the audacity to send us a bizarre email saying our reservation was “cancelled due to no-show.” Seriously? We were there for two hours waiting for food that never came!
Avoid this place at all costs. Unprofessional, disorganized, and a complete...
Read moreWould not return. Although the servers were friendly, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The food took an unreasonably long time to arrive—two of the four main courses were served first, and the remaining two arrived 40 minutes later with little to no apology or explanation. One member of our group has food allergies and was given an allergen card. However, when they pointed out that the menu listed cashew nuts in the pilaw but the allergen card did not, the server responded with apathy and failed to grasp the seriousness of the issue. This is a major food safety concern and should have been handled with far more care. The food itself was of poor quality: inconsistent portion sizes, some dishes served cold, and overall lacking in flavour. The only redeeming feature was the decor, which is quite nice—unfortunately, it’s not enough to justify a visit. Avoid...
