For someone who loves photography and does the utmost best to capture food aesthetically, this place was right up my alley. All dishes were artfully plated without sacrificing flavour, and this includes dessert. I had the Vanilla Plant; Bourbon vanilla ice cream | chocolate sauce | brownie crumble and it literally came out in a plant pot (see video).

We got the set menu that came with an appetizer, main and dessert all for $45 euros. Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in Haarlem. 🇳🇱

Only down side is a waiter there kept sucking flem from his nose and throat very loudly throughout our entire dining experience. It really dampened the experience….very gross if I’m...

I've been living in Haarlem for 7 years now and I can't believe I have just discovered this gem of a restaurant! The chef is an artist and very proud of his creations, as he should be. Our food was presented beautifully and personally by him...a nice touch. The tastes were unique and delicious and the balance of the entire dinner was perfect. Our waiter, Robert, was a real character and fun to interact with. He was super-attentive to our needs which he delivered with a kindness and a very refined accuracy. He knew exactly when to be present and when to disappear. On top of all this, their meat and fish products are 100% organic and of animal-friendly origin. Subliem Restaurant is wonderful! Amazing food, service and ambiance! The chef is extremely talented and puts incredible care into the tremendous flavor combinations the restaurant provides at every course. From the moment you are seated you are on a culinary journey! The bread with herbs, salt, butter is epic! The goat cheese ‘nest’ salad is exquisite! Try the table smoked salmon for an incredible main, or one of their tasty daily specials like fresh tuna steak from Italy, or their incredible desserts inspired by chocolate, hazelnut, berries and more!
