LEON — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

Please, do NOT go here. Where my wife was positive about LEON, and it being my first experience with them, it turned out after 29 minutes of waiting into the WORST ‘fast’ food experience in our lives. No capable staff, two inexperienced young persons behind the counter not even taking the order properly, and all of this while you see multiple people in the kitchen walking around, checking their phones, and making menu items that apparently are not ordered and end up in a stock pile, while other items are not being prepared. Almost all people around us, waiting for their order, were getting annoyed and with several orders not even picked up anymore as likely people had to catch their flights. Watching what happens behind the counter starts to make you annoyed after a while and if you then finally get something it turns out to be cold and not tasty. The burger ordered seemed like thrown together and with everything lose when I unwrapped the paper. Not worth the €23 premium pricing for just 4 items. Even the fries, the easiest to make of all, were cold, old and tasted like saturated with oil indicating they have been in the oil way too long. We ended up throwing it away without eating it as it just tasted old, gross, and the experience didn’t add to it.

Safe yourself such experience, and go elsewhere. Plenty of options around.

the staff's attitude was quite off-putting. When inquiring about turning side dishes into a meal, the response was a blunt and unapologetic "no." Moreover, when my father asked about the delay in receiving our food after being promised a quick 5-minute wait, the server completely ignored him and walked away, leaving us feeling neglected.

excessively long waiting time— they failed to deliver on their promised waiting time, as we ended up waiting for over 20 minutes for our food.

Lack of stock— During our visit, they removed certain items from the menu halfway through our meal, which resulted in some customers having to request refunds due to unavailable items.

Disappointing portions— My mother's satay rice box had an extremely small portion of rice, almost as if it had been halved. This made us question whether the restaurant consistently offers small portions or simply ran out of food to fulfill the order.

My own order of 5-piece nuggets was also unsatisfactory. When I opened the box, it appeared as if someone had already taken a bite on the nuggets.

Lastly, the service was lacking as well. Despite requesting ketchup at the cashier when placing my order, I had to ask again upon receiving my nuggets, indicating a lack of attention to customer requests and a subpar level of service.

Also, ASK FOR RECIPT. They cant even remember...

Stopped there to order two beverages, one burger, one box with rice and chicken, some nuggets and some fries.

First of all, we had to wait 20 to 25 minutes because with an enormous line of people waiting the personnel doesn’t work and only one girl is taking orders and taking care of the whole process.

After 25 minutes of waiting that girl shows up and take our order. Order is 43.75, We gave her €45 and she looked at us staring at us for a long minute waiting for more money because she don’t know how to count some bank notes.

Then the preparation process was OK. We received our food quick and confident we left with our bag to our gate which is on the other side of the airport.

What a surprise when I open my bag and I found out that my rice box with chicken has been replaced by an ugly burger that I never ordered. That is probably half of the cost of €11.95 for the rice box and look absolutely disgusting.

So this was my first and last experience at this ugly place with br@inl3ss employees that don’t know how to work, and that are totally inefficient, and cannot even put the proper products in the bags of the order of the customers.
