Extremely poor Mc Donaldâs. Prices are extortionate even for an airport restaurant. There seems like there is absolutely no attention paid to detail and the staff are rude and uninterested. We placed our order on one of the self-service machines and we ordered a Homestyle Chicken Burger Meal (Large) with Fries and a Lipton Ice Tea and the Homestyle Chicken Tenders with a Sweet & Sour dip. Our food came to âŹ17,60. I found it highly annoying that you had to pay extra (âŹ0.75) for sauces/dips whereas back in the UK the basic sauces are free. There were a lot of orders but our food did come our fairly quickly and we managed to find a table. However when we sat down we were bitterly disappointed to discover that the Sweet n Sour Dip had been missed off our order. I went up to the counter and said it had been missed off of our order and the female staff member I approached said something to the boy working behind the counter and then the female staff member said âHereâ and gave me the dip with no apology. I was then extremely annoyed when I returned to our table and I was told my my boyfriend that his Homestyle Chicken Burger was in fact a Beef Burger. So again I went back up to the same female staff worker and said this was also wrong and she said they would get us one so after a few minutes and a couple of different members of staff checking out this burger that on that box said chicken but inside was beef we were given a new burger and the only response I got was âsorryâ. By the time I got back to the table the fries were cold which were disappointing and not very nice to eat without any sauce but I wasnât willing to pay nearly âŹ1 for a small pot. The Homestyle Chicken Tenders were nice (pretty much the equivalent of Chicken Selects in the UK) but the rest of the meal was extremely disappointing and the service was shockingly bad. I wish I had gone elsewhere before our flight as it left me feeling...
Read moreUnfortunately, my dining experience was marred by several alarming occurrences. Firstly, while consuming the Big Mac hamburger, I discovered a hair within the burger. This discovery not only compromised the taste and hygiene of the meal but also left me feeling extremely disgusted and dissatisfied. Furthermore, when I turned to the banana milkshake, I was appalled to find black fibers floating in the drink. The presence of these fibers not only indicated a lack of cleanliness and quality control but also posed a potential health risk. To compound the issue, one of staff members, while serving me, handled the salad fork with bare hands, touching the tines of the fork that would come into contact with my food. This blatant disregard for basic hygiene practices is unacceptable and further emphasizes the need for improved training. I asked for refundâŚbut no manager responsed me immediatelyďźinstead of what I got was just an email address⌠And when I complained on my mealďźa Muslin woman beside me was also complaining she 厍the WRONG meat wrap⌠It was...
Read moreIt's a McDonald's, they're all virtually the same. Not much I can say about the food, can we call it food? It fills your belly, but that's all. Atmosphere in a fast food place? It was quite civilised. The order machines though could have been better positioned to allow more people to place their orders, as they are tucked around a corner with very little space, which is OK normally when not in an airport, but everyone has a load of hand luggage and it's too tight to actually fit in. Anyway, there was a massive queue because only 2 machine faces out of 6 could be used. I suppose the queue does give you time to reflect on your life choices and maybe gives you time to go find healthier food, though in Schipol Airport,...
