MUST READ!! On Friday, 8th August 2025, at approximately 9:15 p.m., I visited this restaurant with my family. We were promptly seated at a table for five, and as regular customers, our order was taken quickly. By around 09:50 p.m., our food — including Dosas, starters, and beverages — had been served.
Shortly after our food arrived, several staff members approached us and began asking us to vacate the table, even though we had only just started eating. This was done in an abrupt and discourteous manner. We also overheard staff speaking about us in a loud and disrespectful tone from another part of the restaurant, which was both unprofessional and unsettling.
We were eventually asked to leave while our food remained unfinished. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable, and it was completely contrary to the standards of hospitality that customers rightfully expect.
While I am unable to provide the names of the staff involved at this time, I intend to follow up with further details. Based on this incident, I personally will not be returning and would encourage others to consider this experience before deciding to dine here.
FYI: The food was excellent as usual. I have been dining here since its...
Read moreHad dinner here with colleagues to try out this new Indian restaurant in city center Hoofddorp, just opened 3 weeks ago. Nice authentic Indian cuisine, we asked for spicy and were not disappointed! We had soup, dosa, garlic naan, chicken biryani. The dosa was fantastic, well made, crispy and tasty dip sauces. We were a little disappointed at the chicken biryani: savory and hot but was a bit bland, the chicken was not fried (soft, just like stewed chicken). The portions were adequate, just nice and filling. Enough variety of small dishes, full menu, side dishes and snacks … The mango lassi was great, the kulfi malai was nice but lacks decoration (served on a stick). The setting was modern, neat but quite basic, echoey, not much “Indian” atmosphere. The personnel was helpful to explain and help you to make a choice. The pricing was higher than most Indian restaurants, but really worth it! The regular drinks, cocktails are expensive. We recommend and will certainly come back again to try the other yummy dishes...
Read moreWe tried the Chicken tika masala and mysore masala dosa. This hidden pearl in Hoofddorp recently opened and the food is simply amazing. The chicken tika masala is tender, the sauce is spicy yet not overwhelming. The garlic naan is perfect with this dish. Then for the Dosa, it is what you expect from a pancake untill you hit the filling, that is when the fun starts, as they reccomend you to eat it with your hands. It is messy, but worth it especially with the various chutney that vary from garlic/onion to mint and then to the more spicier chutney. You create your own experience.
For the server(s), the hospitality is amazing. They run for your every wish to make sure that the dining experience is great. If you have any questions then they are there and happy to help you.
Thank you all so much for this amazing...
