Ristorante Pizzeria Karalis — Restaurant in Leiden

I ordered a pizza via the mobile but it looks likes the order didn't went well. When klik2eat came to bring my order, the pizza from my father-in-law was not correct made. I was missing the tomatoes and the ham on it. Because it's a elderly person who knows how he pizza has to be, we called back klik2eat and informed them that the order was not correct. They repassed the message to the pizzaria Karalis and right away, I got a phone called from the kitchen and I informed them that we received the wrong order. We asked to make a new one, otherwise my father-in-law would not eat the pizza and that we would give back the wrong order. The lady from the pizzaria Karalis agreed. After couple of minutes, she called back again and told me that because of the inconvenience caused, we can keep the wrong pizza. After couple of minutes we receveid the good order. A truly Italian place! Sardinian in origin, has all the classics of Italian cuisine. Busy on the evenings of weekends. I guess in Italy it would translate as a tratorria, at least looking at the menu and service. Waiters are all mostly Italian and are very nice, though at busy times it gets slightly chaotic, but nothing Italians can't handle! Food is very good, tasty, good limoncello, pizzas are made with a tasty dough, not too hard, not too dry. Bonus points for having 0.5l glasses of Peroni or Heineken, a rarity in...

This restaurant is a big place with a nice terrace. Service was really slow and our starter was delivered at the wrong table with one of the meals not what we ordered. This was a recurring thing because at least two waitresses before that, asked us if we ordered what ever she was holding.

The waitress compensated her fault by giving the starter that we ordered, later and for free. Staff is friendly, food is really good. Maybe some numbers on the tables would help with giving out food to the right tables. I would...
