Situated just across the Kamerlingh Onnes building (the Faculty of Law, Universitair of Leiden).

The park is amazingly pretty and historical. Around the park several information boards are placed to remember the fire incident during the war.

The river streams along the park, make it even more lovely in the summer where visitors can just sit or lying on the grass enjoying...

Nice park in the centre of beautiful Leiden with as main feature the Van der Werf Statue towering in the middle surrounded by flowers, trees and benches. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that the park is way to busy in the summer and people leave everything behind. Such a mess everywhere and that's a shame really. We need to take care of the planet and the...
