On a sunny afternoon, we found an outdoor seat at Café 't Pothuiske and were immediately struck by the friendly atmosphere. The staff were not only welcoming but also had an amazing sense of humor, which added to the overall charm of the place. The service was prompt, and we truly enjoyed our time there.

One small hiccup during our visit was that we ordered a portion of pulled pork nachos, which unfortunately didn’t arrive even after waiting for 40 minutes. However, we understand that it was a busy time, and it’s possible that the order was simply overlooked. Despite this, it didn’t diminish the overall positive experience we had at the café.

The beers are great! They got an assortment for all kinds of beer lovers from classic beers to fruitbeers and all sort of craft beers both from the tap as bottled. The only reason I can't give them a full 5 star review is that they don't have vegan food options. But even so the service was great the personal are knowledgeable and polite, fast service and a smile that seems genuine. Cosy, central, perfect! After a good search for a lunch stop in Maastricht, found this beautiful place. It is a cosy, traditional style cafe in the city centre. It has covered outdoor seating, even though, I prefer the atmosphere inside. They have a lovely selection of Dutch snacks. Personal recommendation the farmers lunch (boerenlunch) and the selection of deep fried snacks (bittergarnituur).
