As a student who spends a lot of time at the city library, I often enjoyed the coffee here. Unfortunately, the last time I was queuing to order, the barista didn't even say hi to me. After it was my turn to order, an older white woman cut in front of me and ordered as if nothing had happened. I am a nice guy, and I would have very happily allowed her to go in front of me, but neither the barista nor the lady acknowledged my presence. As a brown international student, I decided to keep quiet to avoid making anyone uncomfortable, but the thing is, I was very, very uncomfortable. Read moreI would not advise to go here. There are plenty of nice spots in Maastricht that would deserve your money. Coffee was okay but the matcha latte was pretty bad (clumped up). However you have to order a drink every other hour. It was not clear to us whether it counted for the whole table or every single person. It led to the situation that one of the service person complained to me in an aggressive manner about my friend who did not order anything for almost 2h (while he was not even present at the table, why ??) Read moreThe space is cozy and the coffee is lovely. However, after I was there for one hour they asked me to move to another table because it was busy hour. I totally understand and agreed. In fact I moved to the library area. Nevertheless I didn't like how the waitress asked me to moved and waited next to the table until I started packing my staff to go. Next time, if you see someone taking out their laptop and you have specific tables for that, just notify the client in that moment.
