Great Dinner! Great Ambiance! Great Service! We had a party of 14 people they accommodated us during Covid 19. They broke us down into three tables. The kids were able to have one extra because he was underage at the table. Although the menu is varied mainly steaks and seafood they had an excellent special. A three-course me al for $30. The choices were filet mignon, seafood paella, or mahi-mahi. The starter was a salad that was delicious or lobster bisque. dessert was creme brulee or chocolate cake. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the kids were able to eat from the kids menu. Even though the food was delicious the big winner is where the restaurant is located. watching the sunset right across from Eagle Beach is a site everyone deserves to see. I am not a drinker however the ones that were drinkers at the table tried the homemade Sangria both with white and red wine and said it was fabulous. The menu was posted out front and you won't miss it because the steps coming up into the restaurant change colors and there is a lit fire tower on either side. The staff was excellent they followed all protocols and were lovely served our dinner in a timely manner I recommend this for all. if you're seeing this and questioning if you need reservations you do, they are not open 7 days a week and they book up quickly. I almost forgot several people had appetizers one had the bruschetta and loved it said it was delicious and fresh. two others have the bacon-wrapped scallops and said they were absolutely wonderful. The one person who did not have the special ordered the lamb chops and said they were cooked to perfection. I hope you enjoy the food we will be going as a family every year!

So far the worst experience I've had in Aruba. First, they could not find the reservation even though we had booked in advance. We ordered off the restaurant week menu and one extra escargot dish. First dish was grilled scallop wrapped with bacon. The scallop wasn't charred at all. So it is still a bit chewy and was overwhelmed by the bacon. The red sauce and the vegetables that came with the dish didn't work with the scallop at all, felt like the salad was throw on the plate as an after-thought. The escargot was swimming in white wine and butter with no trace of herbs there. It's almost as if someone accidentally spilt water onto the dish. Then main dish, the fried snapper was a total disaster. The fish was very oily, falling apart into pieces as if someone had butchered it. The other main dish was the paella. It was the worst paella in my life. First off, the rice was overcooked. It was too soft. Then, it came with imitation crab. I have never seen anyone put that in paella before. And it was the worst imitation crab in my life. The shellfish was not cleaned properly either. It still had some leftover gunky bit. At that point, we informed the waiter and the manager came and apologized profusely. He did not charge us for the dish. A few good thing though, the place is very nice. It is just next to the beach and the pool. There is also a very nice live music here. I think the ambiance is the only selling point here.

Last time we were here this restaurant was just tapas. It has moved into an excellent restaurant I mean the steaks were delicious the pork tenderloin was delicious we had escargot and eggplant and bruschetta for appetizers. Everything was cooked to perfection! For dinner we had the Paia and several other dishes and everything was cooked perfectly. The thing is every place is beautiful in Aruba but very few places can you watch the sunset at Eagle Beach and this is literally right across the street. La Cabana Resort is beautiful it's in the lower rise section and this restaurant I think is independently owned because people were walking up from the street also. They have a guitar player playing music and singing and there's a noticeable entry from the street because there's two pillars with fire burning at the top. I would say the way to notice this is go to Eagle Beach and look to the left and you will find it. Must eat here, definitely worth it! Make reservations. Prices are high but worth it. We will be here every time we come to Aruba!

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype

I had a very unpleasant experience at Las Ramblas and would not recommend it to anyone visiting Aruba. The food was mediocre at best—certainly not worth the high prices—and the service was shockingly poor.

Our server was rude from the start, giving attitude to everyone at our table for no apparent reason. When I simply asked if the sides were included with the meal (a reasonable question), he responded with sarcasm and annoyance, saying things like, “Come on, you’re in Aruba at the best restaurant—spend some money!” His behavior throughout the meal remained unprofessional and disrespectful, even going so far as to speak about us to other employees within earshot. Whenever we tried to ask for anything, he would ignore us entirely.

To make matters worse, we were seated outdoors—normally not an issue—but the area was swarming with large flies. Not a few here and there, but so many that we had to cover our food with towels. All of us are from the Caribbean and accustomed to eating outside, but this was excessive and unhygienic. For a restaurant that claims to be one of the best in Aruba, the conditions were unacceptable.

Even while we were clearly struggling to enjoy our meal and trying to get our server’s attention for help, he continued to ignore us. In the end, we left without finishing our food, paid the bill, and walked away extremely disappointed.

This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had while traveling. Between the poor service, unsanitary environment, and dismissive attitude, Las Ramblas completely failed to deliver on...

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here and had a wonderful time. Our server Keith made sure we are satisfied with our dishes. We even had a special visit from the Executive Chef Willy. We all ordered seafood which all came delicious. Bread was good and accompanied with oil and butter. For appetizers: calamari was very tender and flavorful scallops wrapped in bacon was yummy not they only provide two which was good size shrimp with garlic sauce is highly recommend too escargot if you like snails get them they were tender and not chewy

Main menu: me and my daughter git chilean seabass was delicious and soft like cotton. It was accompanied with potatoes au gratin and vegetable. I really enjoyed this entree. my husband got the catch of a day which was a red snapper fillet. It was also good and flavored well! my son got a kids skirt steak which he was enjoyed. He is a critic about his food but he finished it and said that the sauce was really good! This is pretty good since he loves his steak and very particular about the tenderness and cut. my other child got the paella. She really liked it too but a huge portion. It is filled with fresh seafood.

It was our anniversary so we got a complimentary chocolate cake from which was a great sweet dessert to top our meal.

Ambiance: This is an outdoor restaurant. We booked at 6 so we can see the sunset which was beautiful. They also have a gentleman playing the guitar which set the mood much better.

All in all a great place for dinner with delicious food, service and ambiance! Thanks and will com back...
