Outstanding dinner experience ❤️ Mimma greets you as family in her Italian trattoria with a magnificent roof top setting. The food is authentic Italian with fresh and quality ingredients picked fresh everyday. EVOO, fresh caught fish, fresh salads, homemade risotto, lasagna, chicken, soups, Illy coffee, gelato, . All healthy and Mediterranean diet. There is something delicious and wholesome for everyone. Prices are very reasonable considering everything is fresh. Waiters are very pleasant , cheerful and work diligently on your order amidst the full terrace . Order is taken quickly , then you embark in smorgasbord of delicious aromas from the kitchen that seep through tantalizing your taste buds giving you a little prelude of a little piece of Italy coming to you in Aruba. Our group of 8 are Italian and cook traditional Italian food. Mimma’s passion and love for authentic Italian food and guests is such a blessing we are so grateful and thankful. Her whole team work with so much love and passion synchronized to be able to provide homemade authentic meals freshly prepared and cooked only when ordered. Overall, ehhh, at best. Out of 10 meals and 3 appetizers, only one was said to be “very good”. One was absolutely awful. When we tried to send it back, they told us that we had something wrong with our taste buds because it was the same sauce as another meal we had which we found to be ok. Although we never said that we didn’t like the sauce. In 2.5 weeks in Aruba and going for the past 20 some years, I think this was the 2nd time that no one in our large group could eat the meal of someone who didn’t like it. The last thing we ever do is send it back. It would have to be really bad and deemed so by all the people at the table bc if someone likes it, we would just have taken it home or eaten it. Anyway, the other thing is they charge you for additional bread, which I’ve never seen before and felt to be kind of ridiculous. I also was turned off by the fact that they give yoh the bread after you order. Another tactic aimed at making you order more bc we were starving by the time all 14 people at the table finished ordering and the 25 minutes it took to get our drinks and for the waiter to even approach our table. I guess for business purposes it makes sense, but for people trying to enjoy their dinner, waiting that long is unreasonable. Lastly, it’s nice that it’s on a rooftop overlooking eagle beach but the location and the timeshare that it’s in are pretty shabby. Definitely not a place I would...

We were so looking forward to our meal in this beautiful location. We were seated promptly but things went dowhill from there. We had to ask for a wine menu. Then we had to ask for our waitress so we could order our meals. The salad/soups came in a reasonable amount of time, but then we waited an hour and 20 min for our actual meal to come. We had to ask for water. We were concerned that perhaps our order was missed because we had two different waitresses. We were told that they had some larger groups that evening, although these groups had already cleared out while we ordered our wine. I was dissapointed with the pizza- it felt like it was premade pizza shell. The shrimp in the pasta were the tiniest size and poor quality. The chicken in the other pasta dish was rubbery. Overall, the customer service was probably the most upsetting part of the evening. I guess that waiting an hour and 45 min for your main course is acceptable to them. We have dined here in the past and enjoyed our meal but it was clear to see that customer service is not a priority...
