Like others have mentioned, if I could give a lower rating I would. We were harassed, followed and mistreated by the owner. My friends and I were on our way to the airport when we decided to stop at the beach one last time and eat something quick. One of my friends ordered her food and another a smoothie. Then we asked for water and ice and was told that there was no ice and water is paid which was weird since our entire trip we always asked for water and ice and got it without charge but fine that wasn’t an issue at all. After ordering, my friend asked for the WiFi password and the lady told her that it is only for one person and took her phone to put the password herself. She said that she couldn’t have a lot of people using it because then it gets slow...we were the only ones in the establishment, it was 5 of us and maybe 2 we’re going to use the WiFi. So my friend gets her food and smoothie and we think wow she had ice for the smoothie but she could t give us a cup of ice..weird. Here comes the good part, My friend and I decide to go to the bathroom and we were looking for it on the back side when the rude lady ran back there to tell us we had already used it and after one person there is a charge of $1 per person. We mentioned we didn’t go, we were looking for it when she showed up and she said you did go. We didn’t realize that one of our friends had already gone but I am pregnant and once told, she did let me in but not my friend. I go in the bathroom and they don’t even have LIGHTS so I used the restroom in the dark on top of everything. When I came out, my friend who travels a lot decided to take pictures of the establishment for her trip advisor reviews and the woman began to get really nasty and snatched the establishment rules out of the counter and told her it was illegal to take pictures and called an even more rude man from the back who said was the owner. He came out screaming trying to intimidate us saying that this was a government owned establishment and the police were down the road. My friend told him how the rules were insane, their rudeness was out of control, and she had every right to write a review and he just kept on yelling to the point that we weren’t interested anymore, decided to leave, and he followed us to our car yelling how this is not how things needed to be resolved. I told him we don’t want to hear it and we have a flight to and his response was “I don’t care I’ll call you a taxi but you have to listen” We didn’t need a taxi and we didn’t want to be followed and harassed anymore. Needless to say this was the worse experience we had the entire time. Please support other local businesses but not this one. I don’t ever write reviews but this needed to be done. Save your money and go somewhere where you won’t...
Read moreWe came while on a cruise. This was the first and only place we saw on the beach after touring the island. We ordered food which was bad. It was very pricey but it's a tourist spot and they take advantage just like any other tourist spots in the world. We ordered drinks which were tasty. However, when one of us wanted a mix of piña colada and mango they said no not possible(5 minutes later a lady came up and asked for the same and got it.. she must've been a local idk). We got some local beers which were good but they poured the beer from the can in a cup and cheated us out of at least 4-5 oz but have the nerve to charge like 8 bucks. Now we ordered all this stuff and then when we needed to use the bathroom and was a hassle. We waited for like 25 minutes for someone to open it. Now I did notice that if you paid you got in quicker but their house rules stated we didn't have to. Now this lady tried to pay with 4 quarters and they told her they dont take quarters, dollars only.. umm that ain't stated anywhere but ok whatever it's your business. They seemed rude and entitled and at the end of the day I learned that they wont get my business again and I will make sure that no one that I know who may journey to Aruba will go there either. Word of mouth is powerful so they may want to think about how they conduct business...
Read moreThe dude who makes the drinks is the owner and a con artist. He talks in circles and word salad to confuse the order in order to pad the bill with nonsense like 1. Adding alcohol when you didn’t want it. 2. Adding side orders of ketchup for $1 despite not requesting it. 3. Actually adding an extra drink and insisting that you ordered it. 4. Takes advantage of women by attempting to bully you. 5. Charging you for the bathroom after the fact even though you spent money on food and drink and the sign declaring that the bathroom is for customers. 6. He clearly gets dressed in the dark. 7. He has bad luck when he thinks.
These are all egregious violations of basic customer service. In all seriousness; this place is a dump and is a tourist trap. Do not go here. The wife needs to perhaps get a bigger ring or a new husband bc she’s mad that someone is using her WiFi and walking across her lawn. She just painted it.
The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered in Aruba. My wife handed over her cash and giggled at how ridiculously run this place is.
If you want comedy, go here and attempt to order something straightforward. The owner will turn your order into an algebraic equation which he cannot...
