I live near this shop and I go often.

Every visit is more than getting food for me, they are kind and it feels like being part of a family. The food is freshly made and amazing. The kitchen is also visible to see, and I like to see people doing what they love.

Going there is like meeting a family, they greet you with joy and serve you with respect and love, they're not there just to make money. The place is cozy and clean, the menu has a lot of options based on your taste, they also have a good selection of drinks that I believe you can't find everywhere. You can always have a chat when ordering, ask them if you have any questions, the guys working there are super cool and friendly.

It's sad to see this place transform from a hidden local gem 💎 into a nice but average spot.

The prices have gone up (around 20%?), and while the quality is still good, it's far from what it used to be. I ordered the same as last time in Dec 2024 (Panino Chiara), but the mozzarella and tomatoes were forgettable and unremarkable—though the bread and aubergine were still good.

The warm, welcoming atmosphere and the chemistry between the staff and towards the costumers seem to have disappeared. That said, offering an espresso for €1.95 while waiting for a table is a nice touch.

Again, it's not a bad place at all—but it's no longer somewhere I’d recommend to friends. Maybe just to get a mid range...

Hailed by many locals in Kralingen as one of the finest traditional Italian deli’s in Rotterdam and after my first visit I couldn’t agree more . It’s Infact a little store with food and drink possibilities and reminds me of the many little family owned store-deli’s i encountered in the 80’s and 90’s in the Little Italy neighborhoods in NYC USA . Food was as it should be : home made taste and not adjusted to Dutch or any other non-Italian taste . Prices ? Reasonable.
