I haven't been to Locus for a very long time but met up there with a friend that I hadn't seen for 15 years. It was just as good as ever. An amazing range of beers (hundreds) and a chance to have an Orval (or two) one of my favorites. My friend asked for a beer suggestion and the great thing is that you can say almost any Belgian beer name and they will have it. The rudest waiter in the city , pushing you to drink bear after bear because business is a business. I went there with a group of friends and he immediately after coming he asked us what to we want to drink, not giving time for consideration, shortly after coming again, so we ordered without having much time and space to chose properly, later he kept coming often treating you purely as a source of money and finally saying to us: this is not a library , afterwards we left, the worst atmosphere ever, you can not focus on a talk with a friend because you need to order one...

Among the best beer bars I've ever been to. Massive selection focused on local and regional beers (everything from new Dutch breweries to ancient Trappist and Abbey ales) in a comfortable setting. One of the few remaining working fireplaces in the city provides a cozy atmosphere while excellent service means you'll never sit and wait for another round. Also have borrelbites and snacks.
