A true nightmare, the food was good but one of the guests, who had a severe nut allergy to ALL kinds of nuts (peanuts, pistachios, pine nuts, the whole lot), ended up suffering from an a allergic reaction to the tuna cone dish. We informed the waitress immediately and asked what type of nuts the plate included, several of the guests reported to have tasted nuts within the plate at this point. Much to our surprise, we were told that the plate was nut free and that at most it was the soy sauce which could contain trace amounts. Any person with a nut allergy knows that soy sauce is generally fine to consume UNLESS it has been mixed with actual nuts, so we kept asking to double check as the guest was becoming pale and her tongue at this point was visibly swollen. Luckily she had medicine on hand which prevented a severe allergic reaction from occurring, however, she had to immediately rush back home as the reaction gave her vomiting and diarrhoea. Meanwhile, the restaurant’s staff dismissed our claims by stating over and over the ridiculous excuse of the soy sauce being the cause. We felt hugely disrespected, as they would not even acknowledge or take action on our suggestion to investigate the dish’s ingredients further, which would clearly prevent anything like this from ever happening again. The professionalism displayed by restaurant’s staff was appalling, and what started as a joyous evening ended up being a nightmare. Since the restaurant does not appear to be nut allergy friendly, nor are they willing to do anything about it, if anyone you love or care about has a nut allergy I recommend you stay away...
Read moreI had reservations for Christmas for 8 persons. At 2 dec they called me, asked if I want the Christmas menu or a’la Carte. Since I know my mom and daughter of 12 are not easy eater, I told them I want a’la carte. And at Christmas, when they checked my reservation and said “menu”, I told them again no, I chose a’la carte. But they still send me to next door building special only for menu. And at the end the only option was take it or leave it. There is no apology for messing it up, no offering discount for child or free drinks, we have to pay full price and it’s double from our budget. It’s Christmas, so no way we can find another place for dinner, so we have no choice and forced to take the Christmas menu. It ruined our joy on Christmas night. And definitely my budget. Advice for other guests: asked for written confirmation where the choices are...
Read moreMe and my dutch friend asked for a table last week Thursday, we thought it’s a nice location to have some mocktails and share the spot on social media. but apparently was the blonde waitress with botox face not happy about the fact that we just came for drinks lol. Even it’s a Bar & Restaurant. Well we got treated really disrespectful and she made it really clear and obviously that she did not wants us there. So I said, I really not feel comfortable here and left with my friend to a other “fancy” bar. I never got treated like this 😂 I would rather have someone being honest and tell me “sorry this place is just for people who have food and drinks” instead of this rude behavior… with my tips she could may get herself new Botox but I’m happy to spend the money at the other bar with a really kind and...
