Pardoen — Restaurant in Rotterdam

The owner was out drinking with his friends while we were (all alone in the bar) waiting for a good amount of time before someone vame to help us. We wanted to get some sigarettes out of the vendingmachine. Sadly the owner refused to help and told us he doesnt do change. Another problem occured with the vending machine showing an error. We kindly asked for help from the owner on wich he responded its not his problem. We called the number on the vendingmachine and the customer service was not able to pick up the phone. The owner didnt care about any of this altough the machine took the money of my bank account. In my eyes. Your company. Your vendingmachine! The owner was not helpfull at all. And I highly doubt that he would be friendly towards other customers. Thank you...

Good beer bar. No kitchen so expect only fried snacks. But the huge variety of various local and special beers more than makes up for any complaint people can have over the 2 or 3 kinds of wine (red and white... and rose?), or the lack of cheese boards. Staff is friendly and accommodating if you treat them with respect. Buy them a shot when you order a round and have a new friend for life ;) Nice terrace when the weather is up for it. Good variety of background music inside. Not too loud so you can still talk with your friends. Last but not least: very pretty female bartenders, shame about that 1 guy though. Just joking of course, he's reasonably...

Nice cafe to drink a beer. The terrace has heaters, so if it's a bit chilly you can still sit outside. Downsides; it's too crowded, I had to sit back to back, so I had to stand up every time someone from the back wanted to pass me. Also I ordered a drink at the bar, and I saw the male waiter just grabbed the ice out of the bucket with his bare hands and put it in a glass while he just cleaned the bar with the cleaning rag, which I found quite unhygienic. Having said that, it was quite crowded and he seemed to be the only one working that evening, so it might have happened in the heat of the moment...So if you're into beer, I guess I would...
