Madame Cocos — Local services in Rotterdam

There are two stores offering quite the same products at Markthall. The other store is selling more expensive $2euro because their coconut macarons are bigger. Madame cocos is cheaper at $1.75euro each while it’s smaller which is perfect for me. They offered the tasting as red velvet flavour but I ended up getting the speculoos flavour. It’s so yummy! Next time I want to try the lemongrass one and wish they had this sample because I’m curious to see how that flavour...

The coconut macaroons are amazing! If you get six they give you a deal. Oh how I regret just getting two macaroons. I tried the red velvet and the white chocolate one. There were many options to choose from and I'm sure all would be spectacular. I will visit again as soon as possible to try more of these...

Gister 6 bolletjes gekocht voor€ 10,25 van in totaal 3 smaken, twee van carrotcake met een topping, 2 van de pure chocola , en 2 van de caramel zeezout, ook met chocola . Carrot cake was lekker , niet te droog en smaak kwam goed in de buurt van een goeie carrotcake. De chocolade was te zuinig bedeeld met chocolade stukjes (3 stukjes van 0,8x0,8 x0,8 cm) waardoor je nagenoeg alleen maar kokos proefde. De caramel zeezout met net zo weinig chocolade was ook teleurstellend, want er is met een tuutje een soort caramelsaus in geïnjecteerd, althans dat dachten we te zien aan de buitenkant. Die saus is nog niet eens 1cm in de bol gegaan, dus daar was , net als de chocolade, ook weer weinig van te proeven. Zeezout ook niet te proeven. Jammer dat er voor 1,70 per bol, wat ik heus wel wil betalen, dan toch weer zuinig aan wordt gedaan met de ingrediënten. En ga alsjeblieft niet als antwoord geven dat smaken verschillen, dit is gewoon...
