We went for dinner on 25-October and mentioned with the reservation that 1 person had a soy allergy, and as per the restaurant this was not a problem at all. However when serving the sushi, the sushi with soy and without soy were on the same plate(boat) touching each other. Not even mentioning the fact that we actually ordered the whole sushi boat soy free so both of us could eat all, the kitchen/waitress only looked at the note made during the reservation that 1 person is soy free and therefor didn't even properly listen to our request at the table. A whole new soy free boat was made after.

This mistake by the waitress/kitchen caused an awkwardness with the waiting staff called Eewout, in such a way that we lost all kind of hospitality, and weren't even asked if the food tasted well, the plates just got taken away, and our table was avoided by the waiting staff.

When mentioning the above at the restaurant host while leaving the response was that the waiter felt awkward for his mistake so he tried to avoid us. No excuse or compensation at all was issued.

We e-mailed the same evening to the restaurant, but no reply at all.

My advise, if you look for great costumer service, especially if things don't go to plan, don't visit MOOD...

I used to love this place. The food is nice and so was the atmosphere. However the service has become worse and worse with time: I was coming here often both for lunch and dinner - and especially the lunch used to be one of my favourite. One day I came over for lunch and they didn’t have the lunch menu but only the dinner menu (with dinner prices which are more expensive). When I asked about the lunch and said that I would leave if they didn’t have lunch menu, a very rude employee instead of apologising told me that I had to check their social media because they mentioned there that they wouldn’t have had any lunch. Now, who checks a restaurant’s social media every time they go? Because I don’t . Anyway I checked their Instagram (which is the only social media I use), and their most recent post was a couple of months old… so not sure what he meant.
