Centrally located, wide selection and nice ambience. Great option for those Ramen cravings in Rotterdam.
Location & Ambience: (5/5) Just a short walk away from the central station makes this a great option. The seating is great as there are multiple options both inside and out. There are high tables as well as normal ones and this place can easily accommodate larger groups.
Food:(4/5) The Ramen was overall really good. The flavours were good and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The portion sizes were also great and would satisfy anyone looking for a meal in one. The only downside was that I would have preferred if the meat was a little more flavourful. I found it slightly blander for my liking. This might be because I prefer more spice in my food.
Service:(5/5) The service was quick and the staff were friendly.
Summary: (4/5) Certainly a great option for Ramen. You cannot go wrong with this place. My only build for them is that they need a more spicier version of the...
Read moreOur first visit but we left with big smiles. The restaurant is centrally located and easily found. Nicely laid out interior with a bar down one side and the kitchen at the end, the cooking visible from the adjacent tables. Very friendly and attentive service. The menu offers lots of choice of both ramen and side dishes. We ordered the takoyaki and two bowls of ramen, the spicy ebi furai kara age ramen and the mala noukou chicken ramen plus a couple of calpis. The food arrived quickly and was well presented. The taste lived up to the look of the dishes with everything being delicious. The ramen was the best I've ever tasted. Such a wonderful broth. The takoyaki was very tasty but could have had a little more octopus. A minor quibble though. My well travelled friend stated this was the best ramen she'd had outside of Japan. The bill was very reasonable and we left very satisfied with our first but not...
Read moreI wanted to give ramen another try. And it was good ^^ I had ramen with crispy chicken, chicken meatballs, bamboo, corn and cabbage. The chicken was very crispy and fresh, the broth was SO CREAMY, not overly salty or fatty, the noodles were a dream ( also you can get a bib if you wear nice clothes 😋) The homemade ice tea was very nice. Lot of fresh mint and lemon, not overly sweet.
I was there very early and the place filled rapidly with business people, most of them Japanese. I was given a great explanation of broths and toppings.
UPDATE: Sadly some of the ramen have been changed, which happened NOT to the menue though. Also the prices are still the same even though meat ingredients are missing. When asked about reasons for neither replacement nor notice about that when ordering, the service could not have cared...
