Order placed at 7:35 PM – estimated delivery time: 50 minutes. Sounds reasonable, right? Well… the sushi arrived at 10:00 PM. We live just 10 km from the restaurant, so we really didn’t expect such a delay. For over half an hour the status said “on the way,” so we called at 9:00 PM to check if it wasn’t being delivered via Japan. We were told it was indeed “on the way.”
Another 30 minutes passed and my boyfriend called – this time they said it would arrive “in 15 minutes.” In reality, it took another 30 minutes.
We had guests straight from the airport and wanted to treat them to something nice, but if we had known it would take this long, we would’ve picked a different place.

Read moreI've been ordering from Sushi Point for years and have never had any complaints until yesterday. In comparison to all the tasty and fresh food we've gotten previous times from them, when our order arrived the sushi did not look as fresh as usual. The rice was discoloured, the avocado was brown and it overall looked stale and old. I tried my sushi and it tasted off, my partner did the same with the same result. We called them and they sent us the same order anew for free. I appreciate that but at this point it didn't matter because the damage was done. Soon after, from 3 pieced of bad sushi I had to spend the night in the toilet. Now is the next day and I'm still sick from it.
As someone that has been a happy customer for so long, you've lost my trust and just because of that one time we will not be ordering from Sushi...
Read moreI did not have extremely high standards for this sushi and it was relatively inexpensive, but I was really disappointed that the avocado used in all my sushi rolls was rock hard and unripe. I am not being overly dramatic- I literally could not pierce the avocado with my chopstick, it was that hard. I think it is unacceptable to use severely unripe avocado like this as it ruins the taste/texture of the entire roll, and having relatively soft avocado is like the baseline for sushi.
