Vegan Pizza Bar — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Very friendly and talkative staff. We some had difficulty choosing from all the options, so we got some more time while we got served our drinks and a nice starter.

The food was great! The homemade vegan cheese tasted really nice and melted so well. I had the carbonara pizza which was really good but a bit too salty. Luckily we ordered some dips for the crust and that helped smooth out the salty punch. After our pizzas we ordered some delicious brownies and ice cream and got our unfinished slices in a box to go. We had a 2 person starter, two drinks per person, two pizzas and two desserts for € 85,- so that's not all that expensive.

The atmosphere inside was super cosy and outside it felt nice to sit under the trees in the late night sun. However the restaurant is next to a two way street through which quite a few cars drive. Hopefully later on the barrier between the tables and the street would be a little bigger so the noise from the cars doesn't interfere with conversations.

10/10 food, service, and overall experience. The lovely Mark was warm and friendly from the second I arrived. I reserved a seat at the bar and received a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. With so many amazing options, I had trouble deciding, so Mark kindly offered his expertise on the menu. I had the calamari-a-a-ah, the Ball Appetito (meatballs) and the Sunny Caesar. The calarami were light and tasty, served with lemon and aoili. The meatballs were incredibly moreish and the Caesar was everything one wants from a Caesar. The pizza I had was the Savage Sausage. It was a perfect combination of meaty, smokey, sweet, and savoury. As I'd typically overordered, I took some time to eat my meal and at no point felt hurried or not attended to. Mark was the perfect host, friendly, attentive, and engaging. It's definitely my favourite vegan food in Rotterdam. Thanks to The Vegan Pizza Bar for a wonderful experience during my travels....

Its a nice concept full vegan pizzeria and homemade cheese etc. The pizza always comes cold and uncut so I have to reheat it every single time and cut it. We even requested to have it cut because we had no knives due to moving away. It came uncut. The pizza itself is not bad its just so so so oily and spicy, there is chilli on everything. At this point im just left with oil and spicy mouth and that is not the feeling I want after pizza. The fist few times we ordered the chicken tenders were actually decent, but I don’t know if the recipe was changed ( had to be, the tenders look completely different) but all we got was soggy stringy pieces of wannabe chicken tender and thats 10e CMON.
