New in the town, with an inviting menu. The food and services were so good that we visited twice in the span of 3 weeks. Wonderful staff, who extend warm and friendly service, that gives a welcoming feel. Food is amazing. Chef Mr. Vasu has great culinary skills - an all rounder, who has mastered South Indian, North Indian, Indo-Chinese cuisines as well as Street Food varieties, and Desserts. During the two visits, we tried Mysore Masala Dosa, Misal Paav (the best we have ever had), Paav Bhaaji, Vada Paav, Veg. Hakka Noodles, Chilli Paneer, Idli, fresh and crispy Vada with delicious saambaar and coconut chutney, Plain Dosa and Set Dosa. For dessert, we had Gaajar Halwa. Everything was up to the mark! The Idli they serve deserves special mention - extremely soft, that literally melts away with ease. Gaajar (Carrot) Halwa with ice cream is top notch šš¾ Ended with Masala chaai and Kashmiri pink tea. Both really nice. Best part is, they serve food in eco-friendly (bio-degradable) plates. The owner, a young entrepreneur, Mr. Vivek Shah's hospitality is commendable. Both - good food and services are in balanced proportions here. Overall experience was excellent - Absolutely no complaints about food and services. Hope they will keep up the same. The only issue is the seating arrangements hassle for dine-in option. Considering the factor that it's mainly take away with delivery option, not too fussy about it. Tempted to to try their other street food varieties. Will definitely visit them often. Worth every penny spent!
We extend our best wishes and wish them success in all their endeavours (to the extent that they soon expand and have comfortable seating arrangements for a great dine-in experience)! š

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would never write such a big review but some places truly deserve it. I went with the intent for a normal dinner but I did not expect Urban Tapri to blow my mind by providing a ridiculously authentic taste experience. Usually, vegetarian food outside of India can be a hit or miss but Urban Tapri only provides hits. The food was so good that we had no time to take a picture of anything since we'd literally just break out on every course that arrived. The menu focuses on Indian street food classics. We started with the vada pav which was absolutely crispy on the outside and soft inside. The taste of the seasoning used was genuinely really close to what you get in Mumbai. Next we had a chaat platter, that disappeared in 30 seconds, because we didn't eat it, we inhaled it. So good. The South Indian combo offers idli, medu vada and a dosa. As expected, crispy medu vada and dosa and soft idli, just how you'd want it The chutneys prepared as well were proper in consistency and taste. Next we ate the hakka noodles and paneer chilly, which usually I'd want meat with, but I couldn't care less cause the flavours were just that good. For beverages, we tried masala chaas and lassi. They both perfectly contrasted each other (as they should), with the chaas thin and savoury and the lassi being thick and sweet. Finally for dessert, we had carrot halwa and malai kulfi. Need I say in detail how good it was? Every single course just made us more ravenous for the next. The enthusiasm and sweetness of the staff provides such a cozy, homely vibe that really makes this dining experience a warm, comfort meal for the soul. Lastly, the prices are extremely budget friendly as well, so you get a wide range of courses to try without a heavy toll on the wallet. I would recommend Urban Tapri a 1000000% if you wish to experience the taste of India outside India....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to your restaurant. While the taste of the food was good and all items were delicious, I was disappointed with the quantity in relation to the price, especially when compared to other restaurants in the Netherlands.
We ordered dosa, noodles, manchurian, and several combo meals. We were surprised to find that the dosa in the combo did not contain masala. Additionally, the chaat combo included only six puris, without any indication of this in the menu. We expected a variety of items like samosa chaat or pani puri, not just six puris for ā¬9.
Due to these issues, we do not plan to visit again. I strongly recommend adjusting the quantity to match the price and making your menu descriptions clearer regarding what each combo includes.
Adding below comment after reading restaurant response:- Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. We were a group of five, and we all shared the same opinion, as mentioned in my above review.
A restaurant should be able to take reviews positively and use them as an opportunity to improve. Initially, I had a neutral impression of restaurant and hoped for improvements based on feedback. However, after encountering rude behavior and a dismissive attitude in response, I now feel compelled to recommend that my friends avoid visiting this restaurant. Hope they improve their...
