Juliette’s Bistro — Restaurant in Saint Martin

Service is incredibly rude! Do not order from here!! We got room service we ordered a margarita pizza and what we got was ham and mushroom. The lady was arguing with me after I was very polite. She was telling me that that’s not what I ordered. I told her my friend was allergic to mushrooms why would she order a mushroom pizza? Then the lady got sassy when we asked for our change back since the ham and cheese was more money. At first from the time we placed the order to when we received the wrong order it was about 20 minutes now it’s been a whole ordeal to get the new pizza and we have to return the pizza in its ’full Estate’ as the lady said which was fine because we were not going to eat it anyway but it was rude. She explained how we would have to return the pizza at its ‘full estate’ and we won’t get the pizza we ordered until a ‘later date’ I asked when and she got sassy and explained how she had to punch it in the system. Still waiting for our new pizza to arrive. Definitely understand that mistakes happen but to accuse the customer of ordering the wrong thing when she didn’t hear us correctly then proceed to catch an attitude is rude. We definitely would have tipped more since the guy had to come back but now we won’t be. Our trip to SXM has been fantastic everyone has been so friendly except for this lady. Possible one of, if not the worst places for food on Sint Maarten in my opinion.

I've went here three times, thinking the next would be better, but it was not.

The service is INCREDIBLY slow. I went with someone all 3 times and twice they tried to order something with meat and it wasn't cooked...well. I've tried multiple times to get a specific sandwich, and every time they got me something different.

Third time was the last straw. My friend asked for coffee, asked for milk after. Took so long that the coffee got cold. He asked for another hot one, they brought it without milk. He asked for milk again, drink got cold again. This time he asked for coffee with milk. They brought the coffee came without milk.

Food took incredibly long, and it was ok. Wanted our bill, waited 20 minutes for a bill and asked multiple times and never came. It took so long we ended up walking INSIDE just to finally get our bill and leave.

Had an interesting experience at at Juliette's Bistro the other night. Told I would not like anything on the menu, the server stated the food was for white people, the server also stated "we like our food seasoned a certain way." I was stunned to say the least. As a French-West Indian American person I was deeply offended. I know that as a member of a prominent SXM family, this is not the type of message the island wants to send. The islands economy is driven by the tourist industry. Saint Martin is known as a food diverse and culturally diverse island if statements like these are made regularly as the server implied she states, word could certainly get out. Based upon my conversation with the server she seemed to believe she was doing me a favor. Going forward I recommend the wait staff be mindful of what they say since they never know with whom they are interactin. Next time I will go to Grand Case if I want...
