Angie's Kitchen | Restaurant & Stadstuin — Restaurant in The Hague

We are on a bike tour in Amsterdam and Belgium. While we were here in the Hague, we had some free time to have dinner together just my husband and I. We didn't know the area we walked down the street and found Angie's kitchen. Boy, were we fortunate😊 My husband had the Dutch Mule and Angie's burger and fries and I had a vodka raspberry and truffle burger with a salad. Everything was so delicious.We also had the Affogato and cappuccino. Both were great! My high compliments to Angie, the chef! Our server, Paris, was friendly, engaging, and delightful. She checked on is to ensure we were take care of. When we were leaving, she asked us if we would want to see the garden and it was beautiful. It's a lovely patio for big or small parties. The atmosphere music was really great and the service was perfect. This is a must visit...

Absolutely terrible food! It has been a while since I had such terrible food. I was really looking forward to eat some nice piadine, a traditional italian small dish that I am very familiar with, but what I got on my plate was a disgrace. But I was hungry, so I thought why not give it a go. Terrible decision, the piadina was greasy, presented as a pizza (a piadina is folded), worst quality tomatoes, greasy cheese, full of some kind of mayonnaise sauce, like literally swimming in it. It is an offence to the delicacy that the true Piadina Romagnola can be, so please take it off of your menu or start learning how to make a real piadina!, it is really not...

We knew this as Het Heden. The menu's been changed since and it became Angie's kitchen, and it's for the worse.

It took 20 minutes to put bread on the table. Our salads were served without dressing,my fish without lemon. The chips were cold and dry. The home made mayonnaise was tasteless and lifeless. We were charged E25.00 for 2 gins and charged for garlic bread we didn't have

The menu is dull, the cooking artless, tasteless and careless.

The evening was expensive and the food poor.

Despite being a nice venue the poor food and service isn't worth the trip.
