Bar & Brasserie Willem I — Restaurant in The Hague

I have been to many many restaurants and bars in de Hague over the years - this was the worst experience I have ever had - the food is awful, uncooked and cold; but more importantly the staff is rude and inattentive - i ordered a vodka martini with vermouth and I got a warm, unshaken less than an ounce of vodka in a martini glass with 3 olives and the staff stood at the bar and giggled - I felt humiliated - there are many many good restaurants in this area avoid this place...

We are Hotel guest and we see that the restaurant was empty but they said it’s full booked we think they don’t won’t kids, that’s all, because we went to Siimonis close by which is wonderful and come back after 2h they restaurant was half empty 🤣. I don’t like and also in the breakfast there is no service at all. You just set it u find space and they forget...

Tolles Ambiente, gutes leckeres Essen und Cocktails, überwiegend freundliches Personal und als Hotelgast morgens ausreichend zu essen/ trinken im Angebot. Dennoch wirkte das Personal leider öfters überfordert mit " zu vielen" Gästen, auch wenn der Laden nicht mal halb voll war oder sie wirkten unmotiviert/ man fühlte sich etwas unerwünscht/ Geschirr wurde auch zB einfach direkt nach wenigen Sekunden abgeräumt, auch wenn man sich nur Nachschlag holen wollte und noch Essen aufm Teller/ Saft im Glas hatte. Das war aber wirklich abhängig von der Person, anderes Personal war zB wieder super aufmerksam, nett und hilfsbereit sowie engagiert. Das Buffet am Morgen könnte auch etwas mehr Auswahl haben, aber das wäre meckern auf hohen Niveau. Es gibt alles was man im Grunde braucht. Im großen und ganzen war es gut und lecker und schön dort. Wenn man 2-3 mal dort essen oder abends trinken war, dann reicht das aber auch wieder- nichts unbedingt sehenswertes. Relativ teuer je nach Gericht.
