Celebrating my 51st birthday at Buona Terra restaurant was an experience that will stay with me for a long time. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this would be a night to remember. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right touch of elegance that made it feel special without being overwhelming. Renato and Gabriela, the hosts for the evening, greeted me with genuine smiles that set the tone for the evening. Their hospitality was unmatched—they made me feel like I was the guest of honor at a family gathering rather than just another diner.
The four-course meal was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a masterpiece, meticulously presented and cooked to perfection. The first course was a delightful antipasto, where fresh, vibrant ingredients came together in a harmonious balance of flavors and textures. The presentation was so beautiful that it almost felt like a shame to dig in, but once I did, I was immediately swept away by the rich, authentic tastes of Italy.
The second course, a pasta dish, was the kind of culinary experience that makes you close your eyes to savor every bite. The pasta was cooked to an ideal al dente, with a sauce that was both robust and nuanced, leaving no doubt that it had been simmered to perfection. Every element on the plate spoke of the chef's expertise and passion for Italian cuisine.
The third course, a main dish of tender, succulent meat, was the crowning glory of the evening. The meat was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, complemented by a sauce that was rich without being overpowering. The accompanying vegetables were not just an afterthought but a carefully considered part of the dish, perfectly seasoned and cooked to bring out their natural flavors.
Finally, the dessert was a fitting conclusion to a flawless meal. It was light yet indulgent, sweet but not cloying, leaving me completely satisfied but still longing for just one more bite. The dessert captured the essence of what Italian desserts are known for—simplicity and elegance that allow the quality of the ingredients to shine through.
But as remarkable as the food was, it was the service that truly made the evening special. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations that made the meal even more enjoyable. Their warmth and professionalism were the perfect complement to the evening, ensuring that everything flowed smoothly and that we felt well taken care of throughout the night.
As someone who hasn't felt this kind of happiness in a long time, this birthday celebration was exactly what I needed. The combination of exquisite food, warm and welcoming hosts, and impeccable service made it one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Renato and Gabriela, along with the entire team at the restaurant, created an evening that wasn't just a meal but a celebration of life, love, and the joy of good company. I left the restaurant not only satisfied but deeply content, with memories that I will cherish for years to come. If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just want to treat yourself to an unforgettable meal, Buona Terra restaurant is the...
Read moreWe drove all the way from south Limburg just to come to this incredible restaurant for the first time for my partners birthday and it was absolutely amazing as expected. The quality of the food, the presentation, the staff and atmosphere were all amazing. Delicious food, chef there is absolutely on top of everything when it comes to the taste and presentation, the bar tender has exceptional knowledge about different type of wines/drinks and made an absolutely stunning drinks for us and the waitress there was also very nice and welcoming and created a nice atmosphere. We got even tiramisu with a candle on the house as it was my partners birthday, very nice gesture. Plus of course the amazing limoncello and meloncello after all the delicious food was tasty. I really recommend this restaurant if you want a great classy/tasty evening. It’s absolutely stunning inside and out. I would definitely come back to this place anytime and personally this restaurant deserves a Micheline star. Some Micheline star restaurants are not as good as this place. Thank you all so much and...
Read moreMe and my very pregnant wife came for our “last” trip just the 2 of us, to Den Haag. Choose the restaurant based on close proximity to our hotel (Hilton) and good reviews.
Restaurant is nice, with friendly and familiar style staff. Well organized with a small but well executed menu.
Starting with 5 starters to share, you have the option of primo and/or secundi, with desert and optionally a cheese platter. We went for primo and secondi.
Staff was very good at advising which meals are and are not safe for my wife. She took the risotto followed by seabass, followed by a pannacota.
I had the ravioli followed by veal followed by chocolate lava cake and finally an espresso.
Every thing tasted and was well executed. Only minor point was that the lava cate was wett, but not liquid on the inside. But the taste with the icecream on top was great.
We can highly recommend this place.
Total bill including 2 glasses of red wine and a non-alcoholic white wine was 180,- which is the correct price for...
