Up early to go to work or have you been urban exploring the political capital and need that cafeïne hit? This is the place! This coffee corner shop serves plenty of coffee that gives you that needed boost. The shop has a lovely interior with sparse seating but it is compensated with great seating outside. Outside you can enjoy people passing by while sipping on huge cup of Dutch coffee delight with views of some beautiful Dutch architecture. I had large latte and it was LAARGE! The foam is about a finger thick and chunky. It could take a spoon easily although it lacked any artsy pattern on it. The latte itself is very Dutch; so it is strong. Being strong, itis a bit on the bitter side but you can compansate with cream and sugar. Definately go here for that good Dutch coffee, butbe aware that it is at a road that has some traffic doing along from time to time.

I like this place! The vibes are good and it’s a nice traditional Dutch cafe. You might run into the (former?) prime minister, though whether that’s a positive or negative depends on your political persuasion. I’ve run into prime ministers in weirder places, so this is pleasant by comparison. I have to ask though. Why do you only give a loyalty stamp for hot drinks and not ice drinks? After going here for four years, I have to say that this is a really weird and pedantic point. Even the staff (who are friendly and helpful) acknowledge it as strange. Especially when the iced coffee costs much more (4.70 for a small??) than a regular coffee. Quite odd to nickel and dime on this point.

1. Coconut Cake: Very good. Subtly sweet and filled with coconut gratings. Loved it. 2. Panini: The best. The cheese was oozy and went so rightly with all the other stuffing. 3. Smoked Chicken: Raw Vegetables with chicken in a brown bread. Ehh. Would highly recommend visiting this cafe. The Cafe sits cozily in a corner and you can quietly observe the buzz of the street. Was my second visit. Our server was very kind man. We had Veg Caprese and Chicken panini ..both were exceptionally good. Hot chocolate was goood and also cheesecake and apple tart were delightfully nice!
