coffeecompany — Restaurant in The Hague

I had a very bad experience yesterday about the smoking situation. I am a non-smoker and I have never seen this in any other places in the Netherlands.

I have arrived to the coffeecompany alone, ordered a coffee and just wanted to peacfully enjoy it. It was a pretty sunny day, i have decided to sit outside and this is where things started to go wrong. I have picked a small table where there was also an ash tray. A little bit later a barista come out and asked me to sit to another place, not really understood the reasons, but as far as I get it was to close to the entrace for another venue and despite the fact that I am not smoking, the venue asked to move the table. The barista was nice and things like this happens, so without any hard feeling, I have picked another one with my coffee, to also sit there alone. This table also had an ash tray on it. Suddenly someone step to my table, without saying excuse me and put out the cigarette in the middle of my table as it would be natural. I repeat it again: not even looking to my eyes, or saying sorry. Is this a normal type of...

Came there about two moths ago. Had very bad experience. There were 3 baristas working, 2 guys and 1 girl. Was late afternoon and the place was quiet, couple of tables seated, but the rest covered with dirty cups. Ordered two coffees, went looking for a clean table, found one fairly clean by the window. Got my coffee, thought, hmm nice cups and also the playlist was pretty good, however the moment got ruined after taking a sip of barely warm milk that was supposed to be a latte. The girl that was working as a cashier started to clean the tables, while guys who made those coffees were just chilling, sitting on the cupboard, then both went to smoke outside, came back in and went back straight without washing their hands to make...

The cappuccino here had quite a bland taste, it was overpriced for the quality they delivered. We also ordered a normal coffee and this seemed to be filter coffee, yet again overpriced. The taste was disappointing and when this was pointed out they offered an americano for no extra cost, this was greatly appreciated. (The americano was made using the actual coffee machine)

With the coffee we ordered pie, one apple slice and one cheesecake slice. Both of these had been put in the freezer before placed on the display or at least it tasted like this which was quite a shame since the taste was actually...
